Vu Linh's adopted son was accused of stealing the sho.w and stealing his colleague's rice bowl, but immediately corrected it.

On February 11, Facebook account DD of artist assistant Mong Trinh, head of Sao Vang Traditional Tuong Troupe, posted a series of articles denouncing artist Binh Tinh (adopted daughter of the late Meritorious Artist Vu Linh) and the Huynh Long Traditional Tuong Troupe.

This account accused Binh Tinh of being ungrateful and "stealing the rice bowl" of her colleagues. Several other Facebook accounts, believed to be members of Sao Vang, also livestreamed with similar content and made malicious comments about Binh Tinh's family.

In response to these allegations, artist Binh Tinh hired a lawyer and sent an official response to the press. She confirmed that she was often invited to perform at the annual Ky Yen Festival of Thanh Hoang Co Mieu (Hoa Binh, Bac Lieu) in her personal capacity.

After the performance on February 10, Binh Tinh attended a meeting with the Thanh Hoang Co Mieu Management Board. This unit wanted to invite the Huynh Long troupe to perform next year - 2026 to mark the 30th anniversary of the temple's founding.

Fearing that his colleagues would misunderstand (every year, Thanh Hoang Co Mieu often invites Sao Vang troupe to perform - PV), Binh Tinh proactively suggested that the Board of Directors invite Sao Vang troupe to perform together, willing to sponsor 45 million VND - the exact amount of this troupe's annual salary - so that both sides would not feel awkward.

After the meeting, the Thanh Hoang Co Mieu Management Board needed to discuss internally, so the two sides have not signed a performance contract.

Binh Tinh did not expect that her goodwill proposal would be distorted into an act of "ungratefulness and stealing her colleague's rice bowl".

Therefore, she requested artist Mong Trinh and Sao Vang Ancient Drama Troupe to remove all content about her on social networks and publicly apologize.

"If you do not admit your mistake, I will take legal measures to protect my reputation, honor and legitimate rights in accordance with the law," Binh Tinh stated in the document.

An anonymous member of the Thanh Hoang Co Mieu Management Board shared with reporters that the incident happened exactly as reported by artist Binh Tinh.

"When she learned that Sao Vang troupe would perform 3 shows at noon, Mong Trinh firmly refused. The board of directors encouraged her a lot but she did not listen. As for Binh Tinh, she also made it clear that if she was not happy and comfortable, she would not sign the contract," this person said.

As for artist Mong Trinh, she said she was busy performing and refused to respond because "there was nothing more to say".

As the older brother and companion of Binh Tinh in taking care of the troupe, artist Huu Quoc was indignant. He wrote a long status about this.

"I witnessed everything and was very indignant," the male artist wrote. According to People's Artist Huu Quoc, the reason was because a unit and a benefactor invited Binh Tinh's Huynh Long troupe to perform 3 shows next year with a very high fee.

People's Artist Huu Quoc shared that, although he had thought about it carefully, after consideration, Binh Tinh still refused "because I was afraid of bein.g accuse.d of stealing someone else's meal".

In the status, People's Artist Huu Quoc said: "I witnessed the image of the uncles in the board of directors and benefactors persuading her to bring the troupe back. They said that Binh Tinh should go home and think about it, the uncles will wait for her answer until December this year. But Binh Tinh still decided not to return to perform even though the contract was very high," People's Artist Huu Quoc said.

He emphasized: "We, the honest people in the profession, all understand how Binh Tinh has lived and treated his colleagues. From doing things that were not there, now he has turned into words that insult the honor of others. It is truly regrettable."

Binh Tinh was born in 1986, in a family with a long tradition of art. Her grandparents were the leaders of the famous Huynh Long classical opera troupe. Her father is artist Duc Loi and her mother is artist and composer Bach Mai. Starting with the art of opera at the ag.e of 4, Binh Tinh was later loved through many plays such as Long Lan Quy Phung, Luong Son Ba - Chuc Anh Dai, Quan Cong Dai Chien Bang Duc, Na Tra... She is one of the adopted children of the late Meritorious Artist Vu Linh and is currently running the Huynh Long troupe.
