"Fairy" Truc Phuong's search results skyrocketed, more than 20 thousand searches just 2 hours after her arrest

On November 14, Ho Chi Minh City Police announced that they had prosecuted and temporarily detained Nguyen Do Truc Phuong (KOL, 30 years old) to investigate the crime of organizing the illegal use of banned substances.

This is the result of the investigation expansion into the case of illegal transportation of banned substances by air from France to Vietnam (Project VN10).

Before being arrested for drug-related crimes, Nguyen Do Truc Phuong was considered a "fairy" by the online community because of her beautiful appearance and her frequent volunteer work. On her personal page, Truc Phuong often shared moments of helping people in difficult circumstances and calling for charity.

Images of these subjects at the authorities are spreading rapidly. Notably, employee Truc Phuong has received the most attention. She used to be a famous figure on the social network Facebook. Currently, searches for Truc Phuong have increased rapidly, with more than 20 thousand searches and reaching the top of Google Trends in just 2 hours.

Nguyen Do Truc Phuong was born in 1994. After 9 years of studying abroad in Australia, she returned to Vietnam to manage her family's hotel business. This girl is famous on social networks for her fundraising activities, supporting the poor, those in difficult circumstances, especially the homeless, or those in sudden difficulties. Truc Phuong has organized many fundraising programs and called for support from the community, then directly went to give gifts or cash to those in need.

In addition to volunteering, Truc Phuong also regularly shares meaningful and inspiring stories about kindness on social networking sites. She not only builds trust from the community, but also attracts many benefactors to participate in her volunteer activities.

She shared that in more than 3 years, she has helped more than 100 cases with a total amount of more than 10 billion VND. During the Covid-19 period alone, the amount of money this 29-year-old girl donated to support people was about 15-16 billion VND. She also shared that she still regularly receives statements every 2-3 months. Although no one asked for it, she wanted clarity and transparency.

Phuong said that he had called for support for about 100 people, with an amount of less than 10 billion VND. In the case of "fishermen harmed on fishing boats", Phuong called for donations of billions of dong, at one point in just 1 hour, the amount of support reached 700 million dong.

Thanks to her charity work, Phuong has been given the beautiful titles "muse", "saint", "female bodhisattva" by the online community. However, Phuong has repeatedly told the media that she is not interested in these compliments or accolades, but only hopes to do charity work like a normal person.

"Since I was little, I saw my parents helping others, so I was also influenced and learned this virtue. According to my mother, when I was little, I saw an old person lying in front of the house, so I ran upstairs to get my mother's shirt to cover them. Then, when many old people selling lottery tickets passed by the house, I would make an appointment with the uncles and aunts to come here at 8 o'clock and I will scoop out rice for you to eat," Truc Phuong once shared.

Nguyen Do Truc Phuong was honored to be one of 27 young people honored by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, awarded the "Youth of Beautiful Living" Award in 2020 and was a character sharing stories at the "Kind Deeds" Program of Vietnam Television.
