Famous singer Che Linh continues to make new statements about the accusatio.n that Dam Vinh Hung does not respect the older generation. He said that he only spoke out now because the story directly affects the image of the literary and artistic association.

In the series "Che Linh with memories" posted on his personal channel, Che Linh spoke up when asked why he only blamed Dam Vinh Hung for arbitrarily changing the lyrics of his song and not others.

He explained: "Other people are not professional singers, but Dam Vinh Hung is a professional singer, standing in the ranks of artists. Actually, they did not change the lyrics of my song but liked the melody so they made different lyrics. They did that because they liked the melody of my song.

My songs are often edited like that, it's okay. Editing lyrics is different from changing lyrics, they have to really like the song's melody to do it, so I don't mention it. With Dam Vinh Hung, I mentioned it directly once but Dam Vinh Hung didn't respect me."

Che Linh added that some people asked why he only spoke up about Dam Vinh Hung now. He explained that the reason he spoke up now was because the matter was related to the collective of artists. "I am still lucid and can see the common danger to the art community, so I need to speak up to correct the children and grandchildren," Che Linh said.

In a previous vlog, Che Linh said he firmly refused when Dam Vinh Hung asked him to sing a duet at a show in Binh Duong. Che Linh said that because Dam Vinh Hung was improvising, he was not prepared so he could not sing freely.

"I refused Dam Vinh Hung because the song was not in the script. I had not prepared anything. Dam Vinh Hung told me that this song was old and did not need to be prepared. I firmly refused to sing it. I told Dam Vinh Hung that whether the song is old or new, the singer still has to prepare to sing it well. In addition, the artist has to practice with the band before performing in front of the audience.

For me, singers must respect the audience, they cannot sing whatever they want, say whatever they want. I cannot do that because it is against my professional rules. I went on stage and apologized to Dam Vinh Hung very properly," Che Linh shared.

According to Che Linh, another time, Dam Vinh Hung called and asked for his permission to sing the song Thuong Han. Accepting the request, he was very happy because his junior respected his copyright and loved his music. As a senior, Che Linh was also willing to support his junior with all his might.

"I'm happy that the younger generation still loves and sings my music. Dam Vinh Hung asked me about royalties. I replied that I don't need mone.y. Dam Vinh Hung can sing freely," Che Linh said. However, later, famous singer Che Linh was somewhat disappointed when Dam Vinh Hung sang and changed the lyrics of his song. Che Linh felt sorry about this and met with his junior to give his opinion.

"I thought Dam Vinh Hung would accept my opinion. But he ignored it and continued to sing my song with the wrong lyrics. I was quite sad but thought it was probably because each person has their own personality," Che Linh confided.

At the program, he also talked about his golden days singing in Hanoi. He said: "My ancestors and my profession have allowed me to fulfill my wish and do my dream job of serving audiences across the three regions. I was very touched when I sang at the My Dinh National Convention Center, where APEC was held. That place was very grand and had international stature.

When I came out to sing, the hall was packed with over 4,000 people. I was extremely happy standing on stage looking at the audience. I was touched by the overwhelming response. Actually, I was happier than some of my colleagues. They also wished to be like me, but unfortunately, they gave up halfway, leaving me alone. To this day, I am still loved by the audience.
