The male artist had intended to return to his hometown and continue to work in the fields to make a living, but he was partially supported by his elder brother, Diep Lang, so he decided to stay to continue his studies. After a while, he was able to stand on the big stage with his seniors, making the male artist extremely happy. Even more fun when after one night, Chau Thanh was recognized by everyone for his talent and increased his salary from 2.5 dong to 10 dong, becoming a star sought after by singing groups.

Artist Chau Thanh confided that he is ready to devote himself to art, even though there is still an audience, he will still perform with all his heart. Currently, the artist and his wife have 4 children (2 boys, 2 girls) respectively: Chau Tuan, Chau Ngoc Linh, Chau Ngoc Tien and Chau Bao. Before giving birth to the following two children, artist Chau Thanh and his wife had a divorce time of up to 10 years.

Before coming to her husband, artist Ngoc Huyen Chau was a daughter from a well-to-do family, while Chau Thanh was still empty-handed and had no career. However, the female artist's family still accepted him, only interested in his gentle nature without the need for registration. About the reason for the first marriage breakdown, the female artist revealed: "That day I was young, I didn't think I had enough to eat. At that time, I was young and thought I was a bit sharp, he thought he was talented, so he didn't. Who needs someone. Artist Chau Thanh went one step further with his wife over 8 years old, but the marriage could not last because the other decided to settle in the US. The male artist decided to become a monk, but he had time to think again at the last minute thanks to the special action of his 3-year-old daughter.

In the late afternoon, artist Chau Thanh lives in the love and care of his family. Although the amount of money to perform is not much, the male artist always feels grateful and appreciates the support of the audience. On his personal page, he often shares sweet moments with his family. Experiencing many difficulties, he and his wife have had a full life, "heaps of children and grandchildren".

He expressed: "Being loved and recognized by everyone is my happiness. The audience also knows how my family is, how many children I have. That makes me very touched."

Even though he was invited to perform, Chau Thanh could not avoid being sad when now, the cai luong stage is no longer as flourishing as it was in its heyday. "For the past few decades, thanks to everyone's love, I have a home and a stable family life. The rest of my life, impermanence comes without knowing when, so I sing for passion and love. to repay the audience. When I went to perform, many people even came from far away to see me," he confided.

Chau Thanh believes that "where the audience loves, I will sing". Therefore, he did not distinguish between going to the party and the stage at the fair. "My life is also coming to an end, so I just respond to everyone's love for me. Before, I used to sing in many different countries. Now I come for love, regardless of the big stage. small," he said.

The 5X vocalist also added that in the present, his voice has also changed a bit compared to his youth. However, many colleagues were surprised because he still kept his strong voice even though he turned 65.
