According to a report from the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, on January 10, at Concert Hall B, the Faculty of Jazz-Pop-Rock and Music Technology organized a semester exam for students. When marking the exam, Luu Thien Huong (visiting lecturer) and Vo Thi Minh Huyen (full-time lecturer) had a conflict and argued about their expertise when grading. After the incident, Acting Director of Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music Hoang Ngoc Long received a lawsuit from Luu Thien Huong, accusing Minh Huyen of violating ethics and insulting colleagues.

School leaders said that the school is holding exams at this time, and it is at the end of the year, so all departments are busy. However, realizing the importance of the incident, at 3:00 p.m. on January 12, the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music held a meeting with the participation of relevant stakeholders: Party Committee; Board of manager; Head of the Department of Jazz-Pop-Rock and Music Technology; Head of the People's Inspection Committee; Department of Training, Scientific Management and International Cooperation, Department of Administration and General Affairs; Personnel Organization Department, Student Affairs Department.

"After discussing and reviewing the incident, the Council found that lecturer Minh Huyen, in a moment of anger, could not control his behavior, had an attitude and actions that did not follow the standards of a lecturer.

The Council agreed to issue a disciplinary measure of reprimand for lecturer Vo Thi Minh Huyen, and requested lecturer Vo Thi Minh Huyen to apologize to lecturer Luu Thien Huong at the upcoming conciliation meeting. to the Conservatory of Music, handled in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Conduct of the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music" , Dr. Hoang Ngoc Long reported.

When receiving the question about how to handle lecturers, Meritorious Artist Minh Huyen stopped at the level of reprimand, the Acting Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music once again affirmed that the decision passed by the council was in accordance with the House's Code of Conduct. issued by the school.

As for Luu Thien Huong, she believes that the method of reprimanding Minh Huyen is not satisfactory. The female musician said that Minh Huyen should apologize to her in front of all the students for insulting her, but the female artist did not take any action.
