BLACKPINK reunites for the first time after leaving YG, jubilant livestream celebrates 8th anniversary of debut

BlackPink has just made waves on the internet with a jubilant celebration livestream, this is the rare time that all 4 members reunite together after leaving YG. The moment the 4 were happy together, eating ice cream cakes made fans choke.

Jisoo, Lisa, Jennie and Rosé's personal accounts last night simultaneously shared a livestream of them sitting together to celebrate Blackpink's 8th birthday. The 4 girls sang the song Happy Birthday in Korean and then cut cakes, blew out candles and wished together. They interact with fans with cute expressions, friendly conversations and arrange heart symbols for fans. Millions of people watched the livestream, dropping their hearts and congratulating the group.

Jisoo said that it had been a long time since the four of them had been together like this and this was really a blessing. The members expressed their hope to witness each person's success in the future with new artworks.

Blackpink is a 4-member girl group under YG Entertainment, debuted in 2016. Their recent albums, Born Pink and The Album, garnered over two billion streams on Spotify globally. Blackpink is the only girl group in history to achieve this feat.

After the release of the album Born Pink, the group embarked on the Born Pink World Tour, which began in Seoul in October 2022. BLACKPINK also has a fansign event to celebrate its 8th anniversary. This is a very special event for the BLINK community (BLACKPINK fandom) when it is the first reunion of all 4 girls since leaving YG. In addition, fansign is limited to 88 fans selected through a contest announced by YG. And a Vietnamese fan who was lucky to win the opportunity to participate in this fansign is Tran Tuan Dat - also known to the online community as Mr. Beo U40. Recently on his personal page, Mr. Beo U40 revealed an email sent by YG announcing a series of strict regulations in BLACKPINK's 8th anniversary fansign.

Accordingly, in the regulation notification email sent by YG to lucky fans, all 88 fans will have to directly participate in the fansign session and will not be allowed to give up the right to attend to others. If it violates the rules and the organizers find out, they will be put on the "blacklist" and will not be allowed to participate in YG's next events.

On the other hand, all of BLACKPINK's signatures will be signed on a separate piece of paper provided by the organizers. This means that the 4 artists will not be signed on personal belongings prepared by fans. YG also strictly prohibits all activities such as taking selfies on stage, asking the audience below to take photos with the artist or livestream on social media platforms. If detected, you will be asked to delete the captured photos and videos and be invited out of the event immediately.

Notably, in the last bold part, YG said that fans are not allowed to give gifts to artists at the fansign, including handwritten letters. This is a rule that surprised the fan community because at BLACKPINK's previous fansigns, fans can still give gifts to idols without being too strict like this fansign.
