BLACKPINK had "bad luck", was blatantly stolen by juniors, fans were frustrated

The surrounding background also proves that this is Somi's ice cream shop when there are a series of posters printed with the words "Jeon Somi's Ice Cream Shop".

Fans commented that Somi's new music product theme style is the same as Barbie's image. Others claim that the cover of the song is similar to BlackPink and Selena Gomez's 2020 hit, also called Ice Cream. BlackPink released Ice Cream when they were a group under YG Entertainment. Somi belongs to YG's affiliated company - The Black Label, under the management of music producer Teddy. Many blame the company for its "lack of creativity".

This is not the first time BlackPink has been dragged into a debate related to plagiarism noise with Somi. In previous promotions, Somi was accused of dressing like all of Rosé's seniors.
