Hearing that, Quach Tuan Du revealed that he not only helps people sing at temples but also helps them sing in prisons. He said: "Not everyone can sing in prisons. To sing in prisons, one must be qualified, have a good reputation, and have a clean personal life.

When entering the prison, the first thing you have to do is show your identification and you are not allowed to bring anything into the prison, and your identity must not have any bad marks.

I am the one who has been singing in prisons for many years, and was trusted by the wardens to take on responsibilities. Mr. Dam Vinh Hung also sang in prisons but in a different wing, I am in a different wing, it is not simple.

My experience in this life is that with the younger ones, I will take them to the most difficult places. For example, to the morgue, to prison, to sing in remote areas to see the difficulties and hardships. I do not let the younger ones be happy from the beginning.

With my current disciples and juniors, I was the first person to take them to sing Buddhist music in the temple. Now they all have their own positions and achievements.

Quach Tuan Du was born in 1981, from An Giang. Quach Tuan Du left his hometown to start a career in Ho Chi Minh City at the ag.e of 16 and was adopted by singer Ngoc Son.

In 2001, he and two other members founded the group D&D. The group was active at the same time as AC&M, MTV, GMC, The Bells, HAT, releasing 5 albums in three years. In 2004, D&D disbanded, Tuan Du went solo, pursuing bolero remix music. In addition, he acted in movies, participated in TV shows...

The second time, Quach Tuan Du was standing near a gas stove that exploded in a restaurant. He was burned and had to spend a long time actively treating it to recover.

Quach Tuan Du said the third time was the most memorable. At that time, the male singer was traveling from Tra Vinh to An Giang after finishing a performance. Because the road was dark, he lost control of the wheel and drove straight into the river. "When the car was about to sink, I was lucky to open the door and swim up," he recalled. The male singer added that after that time, he was haunted and it took him several years before he dared to drive again.

The fourth time was when Quach Tuan Du contracted Covid-19. At that time, ventilators were scarce, he thought he could handle it so he didn't use them and gave them to other patients. When his condition worsened and he couldn't breathe, he thought he wouldn't survive. He felt lucky that the doctor intervened with a ventilator in time and narrowly escaped deat.h. In addition to those four times, Quach Tuan Du had a stroke on a plane or had a stage collapse.
