Aran: Former member of FIFTY FIFTY, kicked out of the group, is about to debut a new group

Aran's real name is Jeong Eunah, born on October 11, 2004 in South Korea. She is known as a former member of the Korean girl group Fifty Fifty and used to hold the position of Lead Vocalist, Lead Rapper, Maknae.

Aran has a younger brother in the family. She also studied at Seoul Practical Music High School. On June 28, 2023, she filed a lawsuit to invalidate the contract with Attrakt company. Later, it was announced that Aran's exclusive contract with the company had been terminated on October 23, 2023.

Aran is the youngest brother of the band Fifty Fifty, so he is loved and sought after by many fans. Therefore, it is not too surprising that she owns a large number of fans after Debut or even though she has left the group. Aran's Fan Community is not only in the country but also abroad.

She and the group officially debuted on November 18, 2022 with their first Mini Album called "The Fifty". Aran along with Jeong Se-hyun appeared on "Bae Seong-jae's Ten" on March 17, 2023 and showed off his eloquence. On May 2, 2023, through the official Fancafe and SNS, it was announced that Aran was diagnosed with discomfort while practicing dance and continued to be active during treatment. However, her condition has worsened and she has to undergo surgery.

On August 17, 2023, the group's legal representative, Barun Law Firm, announced that the group had filed a criminal complaint against Attrakt CEO Jeon Hong Joon for "violating the Aggravated Penalties Act,... on specific economic crimes (breach of trust)". Then, on October 23, 2023, it was announced that the company had terminated its exclusive contract with members including Saena, Sio and Aran as of October 19.

In August 2024, IOK, which manages actors such as Jo In Sung, Go Hyun Jung, Shin Hye Sun, Moon Chae Won, Kim Ha Neul and Chae Jong Hyeop, announced the launch of a new record label called MASSIVE E&C.

Notably, MASSIVE E&C has signed three former Fifty Fifty girl group members, Saena, Aran, and Sio. The three female idols will join MASSIVE E&C and start new activities as a global K-pop group later this year.

IOK plans to use this move to strengthen its presence in the domestic and international music market as well as strengthen its position as a major player in the global entertainment industry.

MASSIVE E&C's recruitment of female idols who were expelled from the Fifty Fifty group attracted attention.

In June 2023, all 4 members of Fifty Fifty (Saena, Aran, Sio, Keena) suddenly filed a lawsuit against the management company Attrakt, requesting the suspension of the exclusive contract, citing reasons such as the company not paying proper attention to health, schedules, and members not being paid salaries since their debut.

At the end of August 2023, the Seoul Central Court rejected Fifty Fifty's lawsuit, because they had not explained enough reasons for canceling the contract. The 4 idols then continued to file appeals. In October 2023, Keena suddenly withdrew the appeal, directly apologized to Attrakt CEO Jeon Hong Jung and asked to return.

On October 23, 2023, Attrakt announced the termination of Fifty Fifty's exclusive contract with Sio, Aran, and Saena, due to the fact that the 3 members did not have any feedback, correction, or remorse for violating the contract.

Recently, Attrakt announced the new lineup of Fifty Fifty including Keena and 4 newly recruited members. The group is expected to re-debut on September 20, 2024 with a mini album.

MASSIVE E&C has not announced the specific schedule for Saena, Aran and Sio. But if they also debut at the end of the year, they may face Fifty Fifty.
