Quiet for a while, recently, Do Manh Cuong released a statement to show his transparency. Designer Do Manh Cuong wrote on his personal page: "The program will take place from 7am on August 13, 2023 and end at 10:36' on August 14, 2023 with a total donation of VND 499,920,672."

Do Manh Cuong said all this money was transferred directly to the Vietnamese Heart fund of Vietnam Television. He hopes the information is clear and transparent so no one has to worry.

He also shared: "This is also a lesson for Do Manh Cuong to learn from when doing charity. There will never be another call to avoid trouble and misrepresentation from bad elements of society. All volunteer activities in the future Do Manh Cuong will continue to do with his personal strength as before. According to him, the purpose of this campaign is to build boarding houses in schools for children in the mountainous Central Highlands, according to the EM Charity Painting Project launched at the beginning.

Earlier, after being criticized too much for calling for charity in the antifan group Miss Y Nhi, Do Manh Cuong announced to stop his plans ahead of schedule. He said: "Due to the mixed reviews, as well as some people taking advantage of this to tarnish my personal image and the group, it is necessary to let things be done legally and easily reported to everyone before things go too far, I will close the account tomorrow (as Sunday cannot be closed at the moment).

The statement will be made from 7.30pm on August 13, 2023 until the time the account is closed, with confirmation from the bank. All the money donated by everyone will be given back to the program "With me to school", Vietnamese Heart Foundation - Vietnam Television," he wrote.

Sharing with Thanh Nien newspaper, Do Manh Cuong said that charity is a sensitive issue, so until now, designers often only do it individually, not calling. " This case I haven't investigated thoroughly. I wish people looked at charity work in a more positive light. We have been working in the profession for more than 20 years and have a certain success, so no one trades their career with this case," the designer affirmed.

As for travel expenses, we will pay for ourselves, not affect revenue and expenditure. Explaining the use of his personal account number to appeal, Do Manh Cuong said: " Because at first I thought it was simple, I used the account number that I just opened, not used for anything. After the program ended, I closed it permanently and stopped using it. That was the thought at first. Now, when I realize, I look for a solution. I hope everyone understands and understands."
