2 artist Ngoc Dang's children have not received more than 40,000 dollars, the group of overseas artists speaks out

"I tell the truth, keeping other people's money is difficult, keeping a deceased person's money to give back to their family is even harder," said artist Phillip Nam.

As you know, after the late artist Ngoc Dang passed away, artist Phillip Nam - Cam Thu and artist Tuan Chau took care of her funeral.

A week ago, after the funeral was completely completed, artist Phillip Nam released the entire statement.

Accordingly, the total amount of money received from colleagues, spectators and relatives in the US is 59,121 USD, plus the amount of money that artist Ngoc Dang saved while alive is 27,000 USD.

After deducting the funeral expenses of $41,808, the remaining amount is $44,386. According to artist Phillip Nam, all this money will be sent to two children of artist Ngoc Dang in Vietnam. "In the US, no one is qualified to keep this money," he asserted.

However, until now, the two artists Ngoc Dang have not received the above amount, causing many people to wonder.

Therefore, in the recent 49-day worshiping ceremony of artist Ngoc Dang, artist Tuan Chau spoke up:

"Me and Mr. Phillip Nam have shared that they will send all the money left after the funeral to Vietnam for Ngoc Dang's two children, but there is a delay. However, the amount is still intact. I would like to inform you Vietnamese brothers and sisters are like that.

Only a few more days, after the documents and procedures are completed, the money will be transferred to Vietnam."

Artist Phillip Nam also presented: "How much is the entire remaining amount, I have announced on the radio and personal Youtube channel.

To this day, the money has not been transferred because the bank in the US still lacks some information about Ngoc Dang's child, so the procedure has not been completed.

I asked an acquaintance in Saigon to personally meet Ngoc Dang's daughter at home to ask for the bank number as well as the missing information.

When I have that code, I will immediately send money to Ngoc Dang's child, without losing a single penny, just a little late.

On this side, the bank is very careful, just missing a number, an information that they will not transfer money.

I repeat, the money has not been transferred because of the lack of information on Ngoc Dang's children in Vietnam, not what we want to keep this money for.

Honestly, keeping other people's money is hard. Keeping a deceased person's money to give back to their family is even more difficult. We hope everyone can understand us. We never want to keep this money for a day or two."

Then, Phillip Nam added, "I would like to thank the artists and brothers and sisters who have attended the worship of Ms. Ngoc Dang during the past 7 weeks at the Western Vihara.

In the coming time, the altar of Ngoc Dang will continue to be kept at this Western Vihara for two years in a row.

Friends, spectators or artists near and far, if they want to visit Ms. Ngoc Dang, can come here to light a candle for her. The monk is very pleased to have the altar of Ngoc Dang here in the next 2 years.

Artist Ngoc Dang's real name is Nguyen Thi Dang, born in 1951 in Saigon. Ngoc Dang is the son of two talented artists Tu Minh and Ngoc Vang of the Phung Hao singing troupe (founded by People's Artist Phung Ha), so from a young age she grew up in singing and lyrics.

Around the age of 13-14, she was taught the profession by her parents without going through school. Being gifted, she learned very quickly, around the age of 15, she was allowed to sing for the Thanh Binh - Kim Mai troupe of pregnant women Bay Huynh - Ngoc Huong (parents of artists Bach Mai, Thanh Bach...).

Ms. Ngoc Dang is highly appreciated by the profession because of her beautiful face, beauty, strong voice, and skillful expression of classical classical opera. She also has time to sing and contribute to the career guidance of Meritorious Artist Vu Linh.
