The case of Thai Thien Phuong fell into a deadlock: The police reported sad news after many days of searching for hands and relatives in the landfill

Recently, the investigating police side held a press conference to inform the media and the public about the progress of the case of female model Thai Thien Phuong who was harmed by her ex-husband's family.

According to a police representative, a 41-year-old man was arrested in Trung Hoan, Hong Kong on the morning of March 2 on suspicion of aiding criminals under investigation.

The man who has just been arrested is a close friend of Quang Cang Tri - ex-husband Thai Thien Phuong and helped the suspect escape. It is known that this man works for a yacht rental company and tries to collect hundreds of thousands of dollars in commissions to assist the suspect in the case of escape by waterway.

To date, a total of 6 suspects have been arrested in the case of the 28-year-old model murder. Among these, there are 4 people in her ex-husband's family, including Quang Cang Kiet (driver, ex-husband's brother), Quang Cang Tri (victim's ex-husband), Quang Cau (ex-father-in-law), Ly Thuy Huong. (ex-mother-in-law). They were charged with harm and obstruction of justice and appeared in court on February 27. The other two are the ex-husband's ex-husband's mistress and ex-husband's friend. It is worth mentioning that after the identity of the ex-husband's family was revealed, it was discovered that everyone had a criminal record.

Despite being detained, the victim's ex-husband's family appeared calm and did not want to cooperate or confess, making it difficult and impossible to find the rest of the victim's body.

During the press conference, the police representative also said that the sad thing for everyone watching the case is that the search for the victim's remains is at an impasse. More than 100 policemen searched the dump for three days but still found no significant evidence related to the case. Therefore, they must declare the end of the search operation here.

However, the investigative agency continues to collect evidence to soon clarify the case and bring the suspects to justice to receive the appropriate punishment. The site of the landfill suspected to be the disposal of the victims will not be blocked for the time being.

The victim's head and legs were found earlier. The head was found in a soup pot at the house in Tai Po, while the thighs and legs were found in a freezer in the basement. After a thorough analysis, police suspect that the victim's arms and torso were badly disposed of in the landfill.

It has been more than 10 days since Thai Thien Phuong was harmed, plus the polluted environment of the landfill in the hot climate, the hope of finding the remains of the victim has become increasingly hopeless.

Currently, the case is still being interested by the media and the public because this is a case that is evaluated with the level and inhumane behavior of the perpetrator. Many people expressed hope that the investigative agency would soon find the remains of the victims and bring the perpetrators to justice.

Previously, Thai Thien Phuong's parents, husband and close friends appeared in public on February 28 for the first time since the case of which she was a victim was brought to light by the police. They dressed in black, approached the house where the police discovered some parts of Thai Thien Phuong people in Tai Po and arranged to pay respects.

Some people burst into tears during the process of worshiping and remembrance of the deceased. Previously, Thai Thien Phuong's family went to the funeral home to identify her body parts under the strict supervision of the police force. They stayed for about 2 hours and left without giving interviews to the press.

A person surnamed Chen - a member of the Paomes Charity Foundation co-founded by Thai Thien Phuong, said that the 28-year-old model's husband, parents-in-law, and biological parents had all visited her. "We accompany the family because we know they will be emotional when they are identified. They are still deeply saddened," this person said.
