The time when I was diagnosed with the disease was also when I had just finished the wedding ceremony, the day I put on my dream wedding dress was not far away. From a healthy g.irl who has never been sick for a day, I even had to sit in a wheelchair and breathe on an oxygen tank. After the surgery, I had to undergo chemotherapy for many days in pain. The proud back-length hair that used to be completely fell out. In the early days when I got my new hairstyle, I cried every night, soaking my pillow. The side effects of the chemicals made me both physically and mentally exhausted. There was a time when I was too tired, I asked for relief."

Painful, desperate, Diem My had more than once thought of surrendering, she begged her mother to let her be freed. However, family, friends and colleagues have always been there to accompany, encourage and give strength to the young g.irl to be firm on the challenging journey ahead. Diem My shared: "I was extremely sad and tired, but at that time I was in a hurry to tattoo my eyebrows because even though I was sick, I couldn't be ugly. Up to now, I have completed 6 rounds of chemotherapy, 3 times. radiotherapy and officially defeated cancer - the sweet fruit that I had to live half-dead to touch.

After that seemingly insurmountable event, I learned to be resilient and love myself more. Currently, I am starting a new "journey" for myself, with a close friend to launch a humane health and volunteer project.
