Duc Tien's wife said that although she did not see her grandmother, her mother allowed Meo to visit relatives and return to Dong Nai to burn incense for her grandfather. Duc Tien's biological father passed away last year, but his second wife is still healthy, taking care of the house and worshiping her husband.

Binh Phuong said this trip was very meaningful because it was the first time Meo had returned home. "Before he passed away, Tien really wanted to take his daughter to visit his grandparents and their graves. Therefore, I tried to help him fulfill his last wish," she said.

Accordingly, Binh Phuong, her mother and daughter landed at Tan Son Nhat late on September 1. The next day, she took the baby to a house in Linh Dong ward, Thu Duc city to visit her grandmother and uncle but found the door locked. "I arrived at 10 o'clock, waited for a long time, called Grandma Meo but couldn't get through. It was too sunny, so I had to take the baby home," she said.

The reporter also contacted Ms. Ngoc Anh - Duc Tien's biological mother - using the phone number provided by relatives, but no one answered. Currently, Ms. Anh, 65 years old, lives with her eldest daughter, Thuy Tien, in Thu Duc. Previously, she expressed her wish to go to the US to see her son for the last time and meet her grandchildren.

Duc Tien's wife said that she, her parents and daughter are currently staying at a hotel in the city center. In the coming days, they will take Meo to Tay Ninh to visit the graves of their ancestors, visit relatives, meet some of Duc Tien's close friends and return to visit his grandmother if she is home.
