Vien Thu Huong: The singer was tricked out of singing to donate a house, a supercar, and was made a fan by Anh Tho

Thu Huong's real name is Vien Thi Huong, from Quang Xuong, Thanh Hoa. The female lecturer and singer has loved music since childhood and is determined to pursue this path when she passed the exam at the Vietnam National Academy of Music.

Currently, she is a freelance singer and teaches at the Department of Vocal Music - Piano at the Central University of Arts Education. Thu Huong won the First Prize of Thanh Hoa Television Singing, Ha Tay Television Singing and reached the final of the Central region of the Sao Mai 2007 contest.

"I have been active in art for more than 10 years, and now I have just decided to release my first CD. Besides teaching work, I also used to make some MVs but didn't invest too much. Going through the ups and downs of life, I feel mature, feel the song more deeply, so I want to make this product," Thu Huong thought in the press meeting.

Operating for 15 years in the profession, but in 2024 Thu Huong will decide to release her first product. She shared: "Actually, over the past time, I have been making music products but only posting on my channel. The music videos are still quite well invested by me, but I don't hold a press conference, so maybe the press agencies don't know about it. The reason why I launched my first product is because I think it's time for me to keep it with a product that I can hold in my hand, marking the ups and downs in my life and career that I have experienced. Moreover, making CDs and MVs also has its own beauty, there are still many people who like to listen to music using a disc player."

Although she works as an artist, the female singer also affirmed that she does not want to touch too much drama in showbiz: "The showbiz environment is a colorful environment, with a lot of markets and envy. I also know that there are a lot of people who say this and that about showbiz, but I always try to keep myself from getting caught up in those markets and only focus on music and my teaching work.

Moreover, in the environment of folk music, bolero is also quite pure, there is little envy and jealousy. Even the brothers and sisters who came before them were very loving and supported the juniors and the next generation. Personally, I also received a lot of support from brothers and sisters such as: singer Anh Tho, Ho Quang Tam...

Maybe in other arts, there is more anger and jealousy. Because there are many things, many attractions that make people easily envious. From a brand watch of a few billion VND to a luxury car, or a few hundred million VND in cash, running more shows... All of these things will easily make people uncomfortable and jealous."

Sharing on the media recently, Thu Huong also did not hide that she had been tempted in the world. She confided: "In life as well as in the art environment, there are always many temptations, which can be temptations from money, branded goods, beautiful cars, even temptations from love... But in the face of those temptations, I still think that I always keep a calm mind so that I can recognize what is bad and what should not be. Everything has its price, if we are not sober and lost, we will forever not return to the right path we want to take.

Previously, when I was in my second year at the Vietnam National Academy of Music, I also had several people who pursued me and among them, someone told me: "You don't need to sing or run shows like that anymore. You can take care of everything, a full life."

But in return, I will have to comply with people's requests for this and that, moreover, they are also married. While I was a singing enthusiast, only death told me to stop singing.

I was born and raised in Quang Xuong, Thanh Hoa. My family is completely agricultural, the economy is not well-off, so I am too used to difficulties and hardships. For me, being able to sing and earn income by myself was too good, that day the singer movement received a lot of tips after singing. So I feel that I make too much money compared to before, and I even send money back to my parents to raise them."

Vien Thu Huong in 2024 introduced a music project called Our Story. This is a project consisting of 2 music products: CD Our Story and MV Foggy City. The CD Our Story consists of 10 lyrical songs, bolero familiar to the audience such as: Love a person who is far away (Hoang Phuong), The love story of a person knitting clothes (Truong Sa), Tears of the throne (Chau Ky), Arms holding full love (Do Kim Bang), Petals of love (Hoang Trong), The first spring (Tuan Khanh)...

These are songs that have gone with the years, conquering many generations of audiences but brought a new color by Thu Huong. In the CD, Thu Huong invited 3 singers to sing duets: Le Anh Dung, Luong Huy and Ho Quang Tam. The 2nd product of the project is the MV Foggy City (Huynh Anh), made in Tam Dao with romantic images.

Senior Anh Tho shared that she has known Thu Huong for a long time because she is from the same hometown as Thanh Hoa. However, she was surprised and wanted to be a fan when she heard her juniors sing bolero.

"Today I heard Huong sing that I wanted to be a fan immediately. Huong sings very lovingly, fluently like her daily experiences. I see that Huong switched to bolero singing very correctly. I hope you will succeed," singer Anh Tho shared at the press conference.
