The mystery of the place where the prophet Vanga lived: Everyone who walked in burst into tears, why?

At a conference at the CIA in 1974, the European expert gave a piece of information that made many people panic. According to the data of the so-called "psychological group", the prophet Vanga could "see" everything that happened at NATO military bases.
This must be prevented somehow.
The "psychological team" consisted of two dozen people with supernatural abilities, working under the direction of Dr. Edwin May. At the time, the team was trusted by the leadership, because of its contribution to the discovery of Polish intelligence agents operating in Western Europe.
However, as the conference showed, even these âveteranâ psychics could not stop the energy of the Bulgarian woman. This meant that strategic bases were under threat and the âpsychic groupâ needed more funding to increase the effectiveness of countermeasures.
At the same time, another meeting on the same topic was held at Lubyanka, the KGB headquarters in Moscow.
"It is necessary to create a "divine" aura around Vanga, for this it is necessary to provide her, through her assistants, with the necessary information about famous people who come to see her," - counterintelligence officers proposed to the leadership. "We will not cooperate with her directly, because the Bulgarian KGB is already doing that. But with the help of the prophet, we must force our enemies to disperse their forces and spend huge sums on such a useless project as the "psychological group". Because in this case, their specialists are working blindly for our benefit. Moreover, Vanga can also become an invaluable source of information...".
No one knows for sure whether conversations took place along these lines in both rival intelligence agencies. But there is no doubt that similar events occurred.
Soon, the budget for American psychics increased to $ 2 million a year, and they set a task to install an impenetrable "energy shield" for Vanga at all costs. Western experts feared that she could "read" secret documents on the desks of NATO leaders, saving time, effort and intelligence resources of the enemy.
Meanwhile, the press and television agencies did not spare praise for the famous Bulgarian prophet. Vanga's abilities were praised and promoted beyond the borders of the socialist countries. That attracted more and more new clients to her - people who brought necessary information to the intelligence agencies. However, no one wrote about her mistakes, which was probably also part of the secret plan.
In her beautiful house in a remote Bulgarian village, Vanga predicted events that the world's best intelligence agencies knew nothing about.
Former Major of the Bulgarian National Security Committee Nikolay Stoychev once told the press about how the agency collaborated with Vanga.
According to him, Vanga became a kind of unofficial project of the Bulgarian KGB. In addition to her bodyguards, the state paid her a salary of 200 leva per month. She received the sympathy of the head of state Todor Zhivkov.
It is not difficult to explain Todor Zhivkov's good impression of her knowledge: many little-known details of the life of the Bulgarian leader were personally informed by the Chairman of the Bulgarian KGB Angel Solakov to Vanga's assistants.
Stoychev also said that to increase the efficiency of Vanga's work, a network of informants was created whose task was to extract details about the lives of the clients who came to see her. At the hotel where the guests stayed, this work was carried out by the service staff, in the cafe - by the waiters, in the taxi - by the drivers.
Sometimes visitors say things that they later hear from the prophet. In addition, according to the former security major, there is an unofficial army that spreads rumors about Vanga's talent throughout the country.
Does our prophet have any supernatural powers? However, if what she "saw" in the past can be explained in this way, what can be said about the future problems that she correctly predicted? Or did she only predict, but not "see"?...
Main job - information mining
However, the main problem in the work of intelligence agencies for Vanga is considered to be the extraction of information from her clients and influencing their behavior, based on the advice of the prophet.
To this day, this area of her work remain.s largely unknown, although much information from the archives of the Soviet and Bulgarian KGB has been declassified. In particular, the media likes to tell the story of two Bulgarians who were preparing to defect to the West. Before leaving, they came to Vanga to ask about their future (without telling her about their plans), but she herself told them about their plans to defect, warning them of possible troubles. Both of them could be sho.t down by border guards when they crossed the border. In addition, they could soon be tracked, and the best option for them would be to abandon their plans. In the end, they followed her advice.
The Bulgarian KGB officers swore that they knew nothing about the defectors, and that they were fully capable of carrying out their plan. That every defection of people from socialist countries to the West was an advantage for the West and a disadvantage for the Soviet intelligence agencies. Thus, by her actions Vanga prevented both a possible human tragedy and the failure of her KGB colleagues.
Of course, to a certain extent, Vanga contributed to the work of intelligence agencies, but she did it not for mone.y or pressure. How can one intimidate a blind old woman who had suffered so much in her life? I think the Bulgarian KGB chose the right tactics to work with Vanga, helping her to live a decent life according to the standards of a socialist country, while the intelligence agents took advantage of some of her abilities.
The Soviet KGB also acted very cautiously. Not everyone in the Commission believed in Vanga's abilities. They even brought the famous Soviet psychic Vladimir Safonov to meet her. And Vanga made a strong impression on him when she told him about his past (kept secret because he worked for the KGB) and his future. Safonov believed the prophet very much.
Sometimes she expose.d those who were sent to her with fabricated stories to test her. That is, there was something supernatural about Vanga anyway. Her knowledge cannot be explained by the help of Bulgarian KGB informants alone.
Fear of foreigners
In 1986, under the guise of tourists, officers of the West German Intelligence Service (BND) visited Vanga. It is not clear why they were not arrested by the Bulgarian KGB agents? Perhaps, their documents were valid and they had done nothing reprehensible. Moreover, they only asked questions about the healing.
Later, German officers published a report stating that the reason why the elderly Bulgarian leader always maintained good health and good mood was because the prophet had cured him. According to information from CIA psychics, Vanga also "protected" other leaders of the Soviet bloc, so that the "psychological group" could not influence their decisions and actions.
In any case, it was the Bulgarian prophet's talent that helped the CIA "mystics" justify the modest results of their work. They also frightened the Saudi intelligence services that supported the jihadists in the Afghan War. Apparently, Vanga could "see" all the secret bases they built for the opposition and handed over to the Soviet army.
In general, our heroine served both the Bulgarian and Soviet KGB agents, as well as the "psychological group" of American intelligence. In 1996, Vanga died, and a year later, the "psychological group" was dissolved. There was no longer any reason to exist, their "most important" research subject had passed on to the other world...
