Van Dung was "shy" when recalling going to the contest and reaching the top 15 of Miss Vietnam

Referring to Van Dung, people will immediately think of one of the most prominent female comedians in the North or Medical Apple "storming" the Apple Quan stage every Tet to spring.

Having been attached to the arts since childhood, Van Dung has always been impressed by her acting talent, enthusiasm for the profession in each role on screen and comedy stage.

Few people know that "Apple Grandma" Van Dung also participated in the Miss Tien Phong newspaper contest (the predecessor of the Miss Vietnam contest) in 1992.

Sharing in the program 5-star hotel, Van Dung humorously said that her childhood sister was quite hard, at 10 years old, she had to carry water so she could not grow tall: "In the old days, when I was only 10 years old, I had to carry water. There are 10 loads of water a day, so I can't be 1.72m tall like my sister."

She went to the beauty pageant at the age of 16, recalling that day, Van Dung shared: "I mainly support my sister's spirit, not to achieve anything. The older sister is 1m72 tall, entering the top 10. I am 1m61 tall, in the top 15.

I was not surprised with this result because when performing swimsuits, long dresses, walking and speaking, I am a child trained in an artistic environment, so I am also quite proficient. In the old days there was no modeling movement, everyone was amateur and a bit dumb."

Therefore, when mentioning that she participated in the Miss pageant "despite her appearance", Van Dung admitted that she felt embarrassed: "Every time I mention that I have competed in Miss Pageant, I feel embarrassed.

I was short-legged, ugly, unskilled, without good clothes and dared to take the exam. As a result, my sister made the top 15 and I stopped at the top 'what'.

But luckily I wasn't 1.75m tall back then, otherwise I wouldn't have become a comedian."

However, the audience does not see that. After reviewing the image of Van Dung's youth, many people have to admit that the only thing the actress lacks is height. Otherwise, indeed the art industry of the country will have to lack a famous comedian.

As time passed, Van Dung has now turned 48 years old. At the age of U50, she still retains her youthful, radiant appearance and slim physique.

Sharing the secret to help herself preserve her beauty, Van Dung said: "Many women age quickly, sometimes because they are constantly thinking about how to make themselves younger.

So don't worry too much, just live every moment like breathing every day. As long as you are peaceful, happy, not worried, cavalier, optimistic, your every day is youthful youth."

Artist Van Dung rarely mentions his family. Only knowing that, the artist has a son, the couple lives with her husband South and North, so they rarely see each other.
