Tram Anh: From public actor to potential face of Vietnamese cinema

Tram Anh is a new face, not much experience but impresses everyone with her natural acting. At the beginning of her career, she suffered many humiliations when playing public roles.

Tram Anh comes from a working-class family, not related to art. The 26-year-old beauty strives to pursue her passion for acting. Tram Anh had her first nomination for the Most Popular Short Film category at Blue Star. At the same time, she also won runner-up in Face of Cinema 2023.

Young actress Tram Anh started pursuing an artistic path very early. She participated in casting and appeared in many movies, music videos, TV shows... However, at first, Tram Anh only took on mass roles and supporting roles. Therefore, Tram Anh has experienced all kinds of emotions with the acting profession for a long time and has a rich experience.

Tram Anh has spent months playing public roles, with many humiliations that according to her cannot be forgotten in her professional life. The beauty said: "The second time I went to work as an extras was to shoot an advertisement near Starlight Bridge (in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City). HCM). Seeing many people in the crew drinking coffee and milk coffee, I asked for a glass again when I received a discriminatory look from a friend of the production team: "Extras, go over to the other side to drink iced tea." When it was time to eat, I picked up two lumps of meat, and I was reminded: "Extras eat so much, leave one behind."

Tram Anh said she couldn't describe the feeling at that time, wanting to get under the ground. "After filming, I drove from District 7 to my home in District 2, it was raining and my tears kept flowing," Tram Anh said.

Tram Anh's first role was participating in a parody music video by singer Huong Giang (Where are you?). After filming, the MV was released on YouTube, Tram Anh watched it several times to find out that she could appear... shoulders and back.

Currently, when talking about that difficult time, Tram Anh shared: "For Tram Anh, that period was really stuck. This journey I have come to today has many barriers and hardships, but I feel lucky because I have never given up, the fire in my profession still burns. I admit I experienced a lot of bitterness, but I didn't give up or give up. I know that I still lack many things such as acting skills, image investment... But I never intended to stop dedicating myself to art."

In difficult times, Tram Anh always thinks that this is a challenge that he must go through to continue. She admits her only advantage is "bigotry." Therefore, whenever faced with events, Tram Anh always lifts herself up, confronts difficulties to see how extreme she is.

When choosing to pursue acting, Tram Anh anticipated difficulties in the early stages of her career. Her family is a great source of motivation for her to overcome times of impasse. Tram Anh revealed: "Because I am a girl, when filming early and late at night, my parents are very worried. Sometimes my parents wanted me to have a stable job, but I convinced them to let me try acting, if I can't do it, I will find another more suitable job, but at least I will not regret it later."

Tram Anh admitted that after participating in the detective short film series "Detective Brother" aired on Youtube, her name was noticed by many young viewers. The actress claimed that the film was the first success of Tram Anh's acting career. Thanks to "Mr. Detective", Tram Anh received the love of everyone, an environment that helped her learn and train herself more. Since then, the actress has become more confident with the artistic path she is pursuing.

After winning the runner-up prize of the "Face of Cinema" contest, Tram Anh felt extremely emotional. She takes pleasure from the effort she has put in over the years.

Compared to a new Tram Anh who "got her feet wet" many years ago, the actress feels that now, she has changed a lot from personality to career thinking. Tram Anh shared sincerely: "When I first started my career, I was quite hot-tempered, impulsive and 'ruffled' feathers with things that I thought were not right. But now, Tram Ying is calmer, knows how to consider everything before acting.

In terms of career thinking, Tram Anh understands that to become a good actor, I need to try to hone more things, learn acting and acquire social knowledge. Tram Anh is also practicing skills such as martial arts, singing, dancing, dancing ... to support my work and passion."

In one show, Tram Anh once revealed that her ideal type of boyfriend is someone of relative height, at least as tall as her or more. Maybe more than Tram Anh in about 5 years old back. In particular, the other half must be a mature, level-headed personality, know how to share and respect the opinion of the lover.

Also on the show, she unexpectedly opened up about her painful past that has haunted her all her life: "My hardest period was my childhood. I live in an unhappy family situation. Sometimes when my dad would come back drinking and "move hands" with my mother and children, we had to go into hiding. Wait until Dad sleeps before we dare to go home. After experiencing that unhappy childhood, I felt that women deserved to be cherished. No matter what they are wrong or angry and say, violence should not be used to hurt each other. That pain even later, they will never forget."
