After the series "Dust rain", Thuy Trang continued to appear in the video tapes Love life, Love spring in the late 1990s, officially becoming a star of folk music, homeland.

At the peak of her career, happily filled with the love of both the audience and her partner, suddenly one day, Thuy Trang got a stuffy nose, making her singing no longer elegant and sweet.

Despite going to many doctors, no one could find the cause. There was even a doctor who operated on her, but during the operation, there was still no tumor, swelling or inflammation. Over time, the blockage became more and more serious, making her unable to sing.

Thuy Trang confided: "As a singer who lost her voice, there was no greater sadness. At that time, the show invited me to sing, I honestly presented my problem. People let me lip-sync, but I sang with nervousness and anxiety.I felt so miserable that I refused to accept the show.

During that time, I actively searched for good doctors at home and abroad for treatment, but I still couldn't get better. Sometimes when I have pain, I take antibiotics, so my face is puffy because of water retention. I was sad and miserable because I was punished so severely after.

I didn't dare to sing on stage or on TV shows, so I tried to record. But when I finished the MV, I quit because I was not satisfied with my singing."

While Thuy Trang was criticized too much, as if she fell into the abyss because she could not sing, many people said that she married a rich man, so she quit her job.

Sad Thuy Trang is looking for a way out in Buddhism. There was a teacher who invited her to sing Buddhist music. She did not dare to accept because her voice was no longer good. The teacher encourages that what is important is the heart, and the good or bad is secondary.

Thuy Trang gladly accepted. Strangely, when she sang the song Lord Buddha, her voice was unusually good. Immediately, the song "Lord Buddha Quan Am" with Thuy Trang's voice became a hit on many music channels. Phone companies buy the rights to background music. But when singing other songs, the nose is blocked and the singing is not satisfactory.

Thuy Trang confided in the teachers. They explained spiritually that Thuy Trang was covered by someone. Another teacher explained that maybe in her previous life, she had planted karma, now she has to pay. Therefore, the only way to recover is with sincere devotion and prayer.

Thuy Trang thought: "When listening to the teacher, I thought to myself, even though I am a bit famous, but I don't compete professionally and displease anyone, how can I be reassured. So I am inclined to the second explanation is that may be repaid."

Since then, Thuy Trang has often gone to the temple to listen to the lectures of the monks. At home, she chants sutras and prostrate twice a day, morning and evening. She found peace in her soul and accepted to leave the stage forever. After recovering, Thuy Trang returned to her profession quietly and humbly.

At the age of 50, Thuy Trang now lives a leisurely and gentle life with her husband and two children in a 4-storey house in District 5, Ho Chi Minh City. The discreet and innocent personality of the female singer has not changed much after 30 years.

For many years, Thuy Trang hid her husband and children, afraid of being criticized for "exploding". Her husband does business, has extensive relationships, but never shows off his wife.
