Earlier, in early January 2024, social media spread information that Jack advertised the illegal website. Specifically, netizens shared an image of the singer wearing a shirt printed with the name of a money game app. The image quickly caused a stir. At this point, Jack gave no response.

Currently, Tho Nguyen's post with Jack being held by VTV, suspected of advertising disguised as an illegal web is still causing a stir in the online community. Speaking to the media, Jack said he was invited by the Aston Villa club to visit and work. He visited the dressing room, press conference room, shirt production shop and practiced his playing skills with the club's famous stars, exchanged interviews with them and introduced Vietnam to them.

According to Jack, there was a gambling-related page that took Jack's image for the wrong purpose and also removed the post, for using the image without Jack's permission. Jack said he had nothing to do with other parties and only worked directly with Aston Villa.
