Actress Thanh Hien was born in 1954, has a small figure, and a kind face. That's why she often takes on the role of an austere and kind grandmother and mother on the small screen.

The actress has appeared in the films: Thunder in the Rain, No Way Out, Hang's Daughter... Recently, she gained attention as the main role in the film Face Off 7: A Wish of Directed by Ly Hai.

In a conversation with the media, actress Thanh Hien said that many people are impressed by her miserable roles, but in fact she also plays evil and villainous roles. According to her, as an actress, whether the role is cruel or gentle, it is still a role.

"Some people say I have gentle eyes and facial features, and I look very sympathetic when I play a gentle character. But when I see a villain role, I still have to accept it because they need me. There are movies with very low salaries, so I still accept them, not Rigid, only acting at the right price," said actress Thanh Hien.

The actress confided that in addition to dramas and movies, she is also willing to support students in graduation films. A few years ago, the student internship included 12 films, and she acted in all 9 films. But now, because her schedule doesn't allow it, she participates less than before.

Actress Thanh Hien also shared that when participating in any project, she is dedicated to conveying and guiding young actors. She believes that even though she is not a cinematographer or director, with many years of experience on set, she still understands many things.

"I act in a lot of television dramas, so when someone invites me to act in a movie, I ask for the schedule first. If the schedule fits, I then ask for the content and director. Then you guys propose your salary for me.

Each film crew and each project will be different. Whoever has money pays a lot, whoever has little pays a little, not a little money and then I give up," actress Thanh Hien shared.

She also said that thanks to her acting in many films, the audience is familiar with each other, so when they meet them on the street, everyone "shakes hands and congratulates them".

At the age of 69, actress Thanh Hien lives with her husband and children in District 12 (HCMC). She can still perform on her own. She said that sometimes the film crew picks her up, but usually she takes the car herself to be proactive in her time and work.

"Riding with a technology motorbike taxi, the driver knows my face. When I got off the bus, they held my hand to help me down and removed my helmet. They said, "Mom, let me take a picture so I can show it to you. Show off your wife and children." One day they drove me home at midnight, under the dim streetlights, they were still cheering me on, asking to take pictures. I felt very happy," she said.

When asked about her secret to maintaining health, the actress waved her hand. She said that thanks to filming, she is getting better and better, but there is no secret. Even though she eats very little every day, she still functions well and has a clear mind.

The actor shared: "I don't eat much, I'm old, my teeth are weak, so eating meat and fish is a bit painful. When I go to film, people in the crew say I eat like a cat (laughs)."

Actress Thanh Hien said that currently, she finds joy in her role, on set and at home. As for the noise and scandals of the entertainment industry, she listens and ignores them without taking any criticism or opinions to heart.

"I'm old now, I just worry about working and enjoying life every day," the actress confided.
