After many months of hard work, the African team's farm is continuously reaping sweet fruits, from tomatoes, corn to watermelon,... especially Linh Philip's Viet Phi Farm.
Recently, Linh Philip was honored to be invited by the district leaders to participate in the Provincial Agricultural Fair, where agricultural products produced by farms in the districts of the province are displayed and sold. This event was also visited by the Provincial Chairman and leaders of the district's departments and branches.
At the fair, the African team brought many agricultural products such as corn, tomatoes, onions, watermelons and even milled rice to display. In addition, Linh Philip also prepared a sugarcane juicer to both advertise and let people enjoy. Each cup of sugarcane juice is sold for 200 Kz (equivalent to more than 5,000 VND).
As soon as it appeared, Linh Phillip's stall was packed with customers, everyone wanting to try this new sugarcane juice. The number of customers kept increasing, making Linh Philip unable to react in time.
As for the watermelons, Viet Phi Farm previously harvested about 10 watermelons, each weighing about 7kg on average, with about 4 weighing 10-11kg. According to Linh Philip, the watermelons on his farm are twice as big as the ones sold in the market. Linh Phillip brought the 4 largest watermelons to the fair to cut directly for everyone at the fair to enjoy.
After the fair ended, the African team earned more than 21,000 Kz (nearly 600 thousand VND) from selling sugarcane juice and other agricultural products. Linh Philip is known as one of the members of the African team, along with Tien Nguyen, Dong Paulo, Hung Kaka... Linh Philip is one of the people who accompanied Quang Linh in the first days of setting foot on African land.
He is also the first person to successfully grow rice in Angola. The success of Viet Phi Farm in growing rice not only makes the team proud, but also greatly encourages the spirit of Vietnamese groups doing agriculture in Angola.
The vice-chairman of Bailundo County even visited and learned about the experience of growing wet rice and studied the possibility of learning and developing this model for local farmers. He was also surprised by the boldness of Linh Phillip's team, because no one had ever tried growing wet rice in this province before.
In July, the Angolan Minister of Agriculture also personally visited and encouraged Viet Phi Farm when it achieved impressive results. The Minister bought 5 kg of rice from the African team, 1 kg costing 1,000 Kz (nearly 30,000 VND/kg) and said he would support more fertilizers, new varieties, machinery, and provide more land for the team to expand production area.
Recently, Quang Linhâs team in Africa has continuously received positive results. Previously, on the Youtube channel with more than 588 thousand subscribers, Cong Giap, a member of the African team, shared a video with the people on the farm visiting the sticky corn garden.
It is known that the corn garden was planted by the African team for the dry season. According to the initial plan, the harvested corn would be distributed to the people. However, when posting information on the Vietnamese Community Group in Lubangu (Angola), many people came to order. The total amount of corn ordered was up to 165 ears.
According to Cong Giap, grilled corn in Africa is usually sold for 100 Kz/ear (nearly 3 thousand VND/ear). Meanwhile, Vietnamese people buy it for 5 times more, 500 Kz/ear (nearly 14 thousand VND/ear).
According to the explanation, corn in Angola after harvest can only be ground into flour. Besides, the locals only eat corn to be full and do not care whether it is sweet corn or sticky corn, so the price is usually low, selling it to Vietnamese people will be more expensive. The village chief and the people were extremely surprised because they did not think this corn variety would be sold at such a high price, 1 corn costs 500 Kz and no one here buys it.
Team Quang Linh spent 15 thousand dollars to buy a piece of land in the district market, the villagers until the time Pinky16:02:51 07/10/2024Sharing the latest in the vlog of Mr. Cong Giap - a member of the Africa team, he shared that he had just closed the purchase of land in the district market for people in the village to freely buy, sell and develop their lives. It is known that the land costs up...
