Page Six reported that Taylor Swift's show in Austria was canceled. In a statement on August 7 (local time), Barracuda Music - the organizer of Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour in Vienna - said: "After government officials confirmed the planned attack at the Ernst Happel Stadium, we have no choice but to cancel the three scheduled performances for everyone's safety."

All tickets for the 3 canceled shows will be automatically refunded within the next 10 days. Swift's official website also lists canceled concerts.

Currently, it is unclear whether the concerts will be rescheduled. Previously, according to the schedule, the Blank Space singer will meet tens of thousands of fans from August 8 to 10.

Taylor Swift has not spoken out about the above situation.

Authorities confirmed in the early hours of Wednesday afternoon that a 19-year-old Austrian citizen had been arrested with a second unidentified suspect in connection with the planned attack. Franz Ruf, the Interior Ministry's director general for public safety, told ABC News that both suspects were radicalized via the Internet. The 19-year-old is believed to have sworn allegiance to the Islamic State leader in early July.

According to CNN, police said the two suspects took "specific preparations" for an attack after police suspected explosives were stored at the suspect's home in Ternitz. Police also seized chemicals at the young man's home and are conducting an evaluation.

It is unclear which concert the two suspects intended to target. Taylor Swift has scheduled three concerts in Vienna on Thursday nights, June and 7 this week.

However, she could not hide her sadness after making a 24-hour trip from Toronto, Canada via Istanbul, Turkey to Vienna but could not see the idol. She spent about 2,100 USD (about 52 million VND) on transportation costs, including luggage costs incurred for the show outfit.

Before announcing the cancellation of the concert, Denis Savić, 23, from the Czech Republic, thought it was a joke by friends. Savić was horrified when he learned that the attack was real, and was relieved that the concerts were canceled because his family and close friends had planned to go to Austria to watch a concert with him. According to Savić, the ticket buyers he knows are struggling to adjust their plans.

On August 7, on X, Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer said he understood the decision to cancel the show was "a bitter disappointment" for fans but that the incident was very serious because the terrorists had a clear plan.
