By the morning of January 6, Supachok's personal pages and fanpages on Facebook suddenly "evaporated". On the Instagram platform, the Thai player must also activate the comment limit mode to avoid receiving more "bricks" from fans. In the latest post, he was criticized for not playing fair-play in the goal to raise the score to 2-1.

When Supachok disappeared, fans began to flood the personal page of Benjamin Davis - the midfielder who opened the goal for Thailand in the second leg final. "You don't deserve to be professional players," one account said.

Hoang Duc, Quang Hai and Thanh Chung of the Vietnamese team also simultaneously refuted Supachok's goal. Thanh Chung said: "They are professional players, so we are very annoyed to see the opponent score in such a way."

However, according to the law, Thailand and the referee are not wrong. In this kind of situation, the players will usually return the ball. However, the combination of Davis and Supachok that led to the goal was an unsportsmanlike situation, despite all for the sake of scoring.

Previously, there was a similar situation that occurred in the Leeds match against Aston Villa in the 2019/20 Premier League promotion play-offs. Aston Villa players took the initiative to stop when there were Leeds players on the field. Even so, Leeds still squandered and scored. According to the law, Thai players have the right to return the ball or not to return the ball.
