After announcing 30 beautiful sisters to participate in "Beautiful sister kicking the wind to turn the wave", Phuong Vy is the face that the audience expects because she has not appeared or participated in entertainment activities for a long time. At "Beautiful Sister 2023", the singer expressed: "In 15 years in the profession, I have little involvement in artistic activities so I have few friends. Phuong Vy Idol shared: "I spent more than 1 month thinking and 1 week preparing to participate in the program. I train every day so I don't worry about physical problems. However, 10 years passed, without performing choreography, I had to regularly practice dancing to confidently stand on high heels."

Unlike the rest of the beautiful sisters, who often choose old songs or hits that make their name for solo performance, the song Phuong Vy chooses to perform in this solo round is a completely new song.

Phuong Vy shared : "After watching episode 1, Vy is very excited and looking forward to her appearance in episode 2 with a solo competition. Since Vy had spent a week rehearsing, she had to change many different ideas for her repertoire. At one point, Vy even snapped at her husband for no reason because she was too stressed when preparing for the performance."

Phuong Vy added that the music director of the program suggested Vy reenact the old song. However, Fang Vy realized that this song he had sung too much. Vy wanted to bring something new to the show, so Vy chose her new song with choreography. It is a composition of Bearamic, a swing song that Phuong Vy likes very much. Bearamic chose a mix mixed with electronic substances to make the song's colors more youthful and closer to young people.

Ms. Phuong Vy recalled: "When choosing to perform this song, Vy did not know the concept of the show. As for the song I performed very jubilantly, in my mind Vy had planned to perform with the dance company. When she finished mixing, Vy asked the organizers how many dancers she could perform. The organizers responded that this was a solo round so Vy had to perform alone. It sounded like Vy had fallen from above, had to completely redirect and remix a new version for this song."

It has been 10 years since Phuong Vy has not used choreography on stage, so this time Phuong Vy decided to bring the choreography to the stage. However, having to sing a vibrant song and perform choreography alone is a difficult problem for the singer. Before participating in the program, Phuong Vy also quickly lost 5 kg to serve the better choreography.

Phuong Vy said he almost got stuck and lost sleep for a week when all the initial ideas came up with him were not satisfactory. But things were gradually untangled when Phuong Vy had the help of choreographer Nhat Anh, who came up with the idea of performing a solo dance by taking advantage of the wide flared sleeves of the costume. It was this idea that helped Phuong Vy have a performance of many choreographies, including an interesting movement, making the performance more unique.

Because dance is not Phuong Vy's strength, plus the rush of practice time and dance movements require high technique. So during home training, the singer had many difficulties, almost unable to perform well the movement that Vy often jokingly called "tornado dance".

Therefore, Phuong Vy had to try a lot to bring an attractive and unique solo performance to the audience. Phuong Vy recalled: "There were days when Vy and the choreographer practiced from 10pm to 1 or 2am. At 6 o'clock in the morning, I wake up again to practice so that I can make sure I can master and do the movement well."

Currently, Phuong Vy is looking forward to seeing the audience's reaction to her solo performance in episode 2 of Sister Beautiful Sister, airing on the evening of 4/11.
