Immediately, this announcement received attention from netizens. Many people think that Cong Giap and these members are forming a new team, separated from Quang Linh Vlogs and the African team. Because until now, the team members have a pattern of naming the channel to be easily recognizable as [channel owner's name] - Life in Africa.

This information is also controversial because the context is quite sensitive - after Quang Linh Vlogs was entangled in a noisy vegetable candy. Therefore, netizens think that Cong Giap and these people "turned the car" away from Quang Linh.

In response to these controversies, Cong Giap spoke out in a video posted on April 30. He affirmed that there is no separation, no matter what happens, the whole African team still accompanies each other. Cong Giap also updated more information that the newly established Team Cong Giap channel has changed its name to Son Thach - Life in Africa like other team members.

Indeed, the Team Cong Giap channel has been renamed since April 29. Since then, the channel has been called Son Thach - Life in Africa and has had 37.2 subscribers after 1 week of launch.

On the side of Quang Linh and the African team, this group has not had any response to the controversies related to the Cong Giap team. Instead, the Facebook account with the green tick of the African team also shared a clip introducing the Cong Giap team channel and calling on everyone to register for the channel.

It is known that Cong Giap currently has a YouTube channel Cong Giap Vlogs - Life in Africa with 662 thousand subscribers and 403.5 million views of the whole channel. Cong Giap is a compatriot of Nghe An with Quang Linh, who has met and worked with Quang Linh since 2020.
