And I was lucky to meet young actors who were very enthusiastic about their profession. Right in the film's extended casting process, I clearly saw the determination of Ceri Thu Ha and Long Vu.

Long Vu went to casting 3 times and Thu Ha Ceri, although busy with Ly Hai's film cinetour, still did online casting and flew to Hanoi immediately when I suggested direct casting and pairing her with Long Vu. Luckily, both of them understood the "new" things I wanted to put into the film. I don't worry about Ceri Thu Ha and Long Vu only playing supporting roles. As long as the actors are suitable for the role, have the qualities and are willing to put all their efforts into the role, I am always excited to work with them."

Regarding the abilities of the two main characters, the male director commented: "From the time they were assigned the roles, until the first filming scenes and until now, both Thu Ha Ceri and Long Vu have worked very hard and invested in their roles. Both of them have carefully researched the characters and prepared for the characters very well. In particular, to play the role of Pu, Ceri Thu Ha had to learn to go to the forest, use knives, cut bananas, and herd buffalo. Long Vu had less pressure but had to practice dancing and singing a lot.

On set, at first, I forced the two of you to film a lot of takes, until I felt: "That's right! That's Pu! That's Chai! That's a couple tied together by heaven" then I stopped. So maybe, Ceri Thu Ha and Long Vu also "hated" me many times. But when the film aired, the affection that the majority of the audience had for the couple Pu and Chai was the exact answer to my wish.
