Currently, due to the nature of her husband's job as a director of an oil and gas company in Vietnam, Phuong Hong Ngoc often returns home to perform and actively participates in charity and social activities.

Although she had a predestined relationship with acting from an early age, Phuong Hong Ngoc persistently pursued a singing career. She confided:

"When I gave birth to my youngest child, I spent seven years at home, not singing, taking care of children instead of my husband because he moved to another country to work. I love art but love my family more. I don't expect my son to be an uncle. Doctor, engineer or whatever, I just want my children to do their best to become a human being. For that, I accept sacrifices even though I love my job very much.
