Hoang My An was born in 1996 in Ho Chi Minh City. She was born in a well-to-do family, so from a young age, she was focused on education. Passionate and gifted in music since childhood, at the age of 9, My An was a member of a child band. She was also discovered by her family and sent to dancesport dance school.

While studying at RMIT, My An constantly participated in music and dance competitions big and small. Currently, My An is a young singer working at an overseas music center.

Despite being very young, Hoang My An already owns a huge list of achievements that make everyone surprised and jealous. Hoang My An quickly affirmed her talent when she brought dancesport Ho Chi Minh City many national and international medals. Notably, she was granted the rank of dancesport grandmaster when she was 14 years old.

At the age of 17, My An registered to participate in the contest "So You Think You Can Dance Vietnam". Despite not having much experience, My An also successfully won the runner-up position of the contest.

While studying at RMIT, My An began to study music professionally. She enrolled in vocal lessons with Lis Lewis, a world-famous music teacher who has produced many impressive singers.

After graduating, My An and her family moved to the US to live. She enrolled to study Music Industry at the prestigious University of Southern California. Recently, Hoang My An graduated from university with the highest GPA in history of 3.95/4. This is a huge, almost absolute score that everyone wishes to have.

In order to maintain that remarkable study result, Hoang My An revealed that she always carries a planner with her, to clearly record every hour what she has to do for each day. "An also writes down goals and areas he wants to focus on for each month. From there, An can really focus 100% on what he's doing without thinking or being distracted," she said.

Before, present with her daughter at the graduation ceremony, Hoang My An's mother could not help but be touched. She said that during the journey of following her children to perform from the time the singer was a child to adulthood, she saw the hardships of Hoang My An. "I'm glad to see that my son is good, has a serious sense of learning and art. But worrying about his health is often under pressure from schoolwork and a lot of schedule," she confided.

Despite being a "lady" in Vietnam, when coming to the US, the 9X singer was still independent and tried to overcome challenges to complete her studies and maintain her passion for singing.

One of the memorable memories of my student life is when Hoang My An worked as a producer for the Vietnamese Culture Night program at the school. That was the time when she was "tired but most happy" because she had to stay up late to practice the program and get up early to go to school. "The student program should not have much money, I went to buy things in Vietnam for my friends to dance and edit by myself, I lent the program props, taught myself to be a light director, a music director. ...", she added.

After graduating from university, My An said that she will devote herself to artistic activities and unleash her creativity. She hopes the audience will continue to follow and support her upcoming journey.

In particular, in addition to dancing and singing, My An also has a talent for painting and a passion for business. She is currently studying business administration at USC University.
