After more than 4 months of broadcasting, The Masked Singer 2022 (The Masked Singer) has officially ended with the victory of "O Sen" - Vocal Instructor Ngoc Mai.

Ngoc Mai (real name is Le Nhu Ngoc Mai) is a female singer with a voice of Coloratura Lirico Soprano (Lyrical Soprano of Color). She began her professional singing studies in 2002 at the Hue Academy of Music and graduated from the Professional Vocal Intermediate in 2006.

Another time, Ngoc Mai was also haunted by her colleagues: "When I went to Hanoi to compete in the national final, there was 1 sentence that was like a very strong psychological blow: "Where you have, this is just a cockroach".

I was scared to hear it, but now, I use it to tell my students, "One fine day, that guy who said he was on stage and sang a duet with the cockroach they talked about."

Admirable love story with "Circus Prince" Quoc Cong

Besides her music career, Ngoc Mai is also a name that attracts attention when she is the wife of the "Prince of Circus" Quoc Nghiem.

Born in 1989, he received the title of Distinguished Artist at the age of 26. He and his biological brother Quoc Co have been performing professionally since 1999. Their most famous performance is called The Power of Hands. The two set a Guinness World Record in Spain in 2016 with a stacking performance, climbing 90 steps in 52 seconds. At Britain's Got Talent 2018, their first husband performance continued to conquer the judges and audiences.

At the peak of her career, Yumei retreated to the rear to take care of her husband. However, at present, Ngoc Mai is an extremely famous artist and receives the attention of many audiences. Talking about her husband, Ngoc Mai said: "As an artist, he understands my feelings. When I needed time to practice or participate in a community connection class, he took care of my two children on my behalf. When I was struggling, I knew I had found a true partner. When I decided to participate in the Masked Singer contest, my husband held my hand and said, "This is the time for me to fulfill my dream. Rest assured on stage, everything has you worried." The children also understand my work so they don't disturb me when I practice singing. Still, I always balance family chores. Even before the finale on the evening of 19/11, I provided rice and water for my family, just went to the exam (laughs)."

The late-blooming "lotus" of Vietnamese music

Recently, after fulfilling her work at home, Ngoc Mai arranged more time to work more to satisfy her passion for art. She does everything well but without the pressure of achievement, the core thing she wants to bring is spreading healing energy to the audience through music.

Since 2021, during the COVID-19 epidemic that severely affected the whole society, she has founded the Sing With Mai class and the Yen Ca community. These are places where everyone is connected, healed with positive energy. Ngoc Mai not only teaches singing but also directs people to love and understanding through music.

At singer Ho Ngoc Ha's Love Songs concert recently, Ngoc Mai also appeared unexpectedly and had an impressive duet with colleagues in the medley "The more mature, the lonelier - A whole heaven remembers".

Ngoc Mai also participated in the soundtrack project Blood Happiness with the song of the same name. She comes to every project and stage with a sincere heart, a spirit of dedication.
