Meritorious Artist Bui Phuong Nga was born in 1977 and is an actor in the Classical Theater Troupe - Vietnam Drama Theater. She graduated from the Theater and Cinema acting class in 1998, and graduated from the Theater Directing department in 2018 at Hanoi University of Theater and Cinema.

In 2001, Meritorious Artist Bui Phuong Nga co-starred with People's Artist Xuan Bac in the comedy skit "Addict" at the Year-End Gala. In this skit, Phuong Nga plays Xuan Bac's lover - an addict. Meritorious Artist Bui Phuong Nga was awarded the title of Meritorious Artist in 2019.

Bui Phuong Nga got married quite early. In 2004, she gave birth to twin boys, so she decided not to act in movies but instead spent time fulfilling her duties as a wife and mother. Being content with what she has makes Bui Phuong Nga do her job gently, without hustle.

She is one of the few artists at the Vietnam Drama Theater who has a happy married life. Her husband's family is very supportive and often cheers her on every performance. In almost every play in which she participates, her parents and husband's brothers all go to cheer.
