After 20 years of pursuing an artistic career, he considers himself not a star actor, his acting ability is only at a temporary level.

Yongchang's 20 years of acting career has no ups and downs. On television, he appeared in quite a few films but is not remembered much. On stage, he also had many roles but also did not leave an impression on the audience. The actor considers himself just a loving, hard-working, dedicated actor to his role. However, he still boasts a role, which is the character of the Mad Car Boy, which only appears for about 3 minutes but after 20 years the audience can still recognize him. He considered it his happiness.

Talking about the profession, actor Vinh Xuong shared: "My television plays a lot but is not remembered much, the stage I played a lot of roles, but also not remembered, movies also played a lot but also made a really outstanding mark. Overall I'm just an actor who loves my job, works hard, fulfills my role. If I do what I'm told, I'm a star. I know where I am, at what point I don't misunderstand myself."

In real life, actor Yongchang is also very gentle but because his family is willing to make a breakthrough by doing business on his own. He even had time to stop his career to take care of the family economy. Actor Yongchang said, "When I was 34 years old, I got married and I didn't have children until I was 39, and I had twins again, the economic pressure was huge, plus I didn't want my children to be too needy. Meanwhile, making art is too hard economically. Not everyone has a show of tens of millions, we go on tours to earn 100-200,000 VND."

Because of the above reasons, although at that time as the leader of Performance Troupe 1, Vietnam National Opera House, Vinh Xuong resigned from his job to take care of his children and business.

After quitting his job, Vinh Xuong along with actor Anh Tuan went to Saigon for half a month to learn crab soup. After that, they both opened Cake Soup Crab restaurant, which now after 4 years has become a famous name in Hanoi. Now, when everything is fine, Vinh Xuong continues to open more Kinh Ky pho shop. Yongchang is quite modest, although he opens 2 food shops, but he only dares to admit to being a small business.

The image of the famous owner cleaning the table and driving the car for customers has made his shop more and more "popular".

Referring to the generation of Northern dubs, it is impossible not to mention actors Trong Phan, Lan Huong, Do Ky, Truce Chien, followed by Justice Tung Duong, Trung Hieu. However, after that, Trung Hieu worked as a manager, Tung Duong went to business, Mr. Cong Ly studied directing, from 2007 to 2013, Vinh Xuong was the No. 1 star voiced young male voices.

"Some months I dubbed for 27-28 days, so much so that I only went from home to the dubbing room, from the dubbing room to home. Some days I fall asleep in my room," the actor said.

Although he is a voice star, it seems that the audience remembers Yongchang little. "I voiced 5 winners of the Lotus and Golden Kite Awards. Some people call out to thank you, but some people don't say thank you," he said. Since his business, Yongchang has also quit his voice acting job.

So far, Yongchang is satisfied with his role as the owner and family owner of 2 beautiful sons. The image of a crazy male car is gone, he is now the owner of the silver yarn shop, daily serving customers.

Industry insiders recognize that artist Vinh Xuong is a veteran actor on the small screen as he has more than 20 years working in the acting profession. Although there was a time when he was interrupted from participating in many films, but with his love of the profession, hard work, and dedication to each role, the actor made an impressive comeback.

Recently, Yongchang returned to the screen as Mr. Loi – a scheming, corrupt provincial official in the movie Street in the village.

After that, the actor gained attention when he played the role of Hoang Duc - a large corporation president in the movie Duel Tri which is being broadcast on VTV1 channel. Yongchang said that although he specializes in the roles he has to play, this is a difficult, long-term and colorful, multi-dimensional, and complicated psychological role.

"Because the character's shape and personality are so different from mine, it was also a challenge when I immersed myself in the role, I always thought about how to portray a president with self-interested calculations to the audience," Vinh Xuong shared about the role.

Because he plays the role of a rich businessman, the chairman of a large corporation, Vinh Xuong also has to take care and invest carefully in his clothes and appearance. The character of Mr. Duc always appears with clawed hair and ears, always dressed in elegant and luxurious suits, this character is a person with wide communication, a calculating mind, ready to trade everything to achieve his goals, even having to flip his face, use tricks with those around him.

The actor shared with the media, "My wife was very happy that I got a long-running film project like Mind Duel. In the time before I focused on business, I was almost completely away from the screen. It was also a memorable and quite hard time for the whole family. Although I did not say it, I know that my wife always understands and wants me to return to acting as soon as possible with all the love of the profession that I have.

When I get a role, I will immediately share it with my wife. Nguyet always welcomes me back to movies because she knows it's a job I love."

Talking about his business, actor Vinh Xuong said: "For me personally, when I have a supportive family, a wife to take care of the family, obedient children and grandparents to help, going out to make art will not have to worry about anything.

Now, I can devote myself wholeheartedly to making art because of my family's support. When you make art, you don't have to worry about anything, you will have high concentration. When you are wholeheartedly devoted to one thing, it will bring certain results. Moreover, I have always held the view that "the profession chooses the person, not the person who chooses the profession". Circumstances will be a turning point in a person's life."
