Nguyet Hang and actor Anh Tuan are one of the famous "skewed chopsticks" couples in the North screen. It can be said that Nguyet Hang is a descendant of a family, her father is a choreographer Hoang Ha and her mother is an actress Bich Nguyet. Parents worked hard in the arts, so they did not want Nguyet Hang to follow the profession. But from a young age, she soon showed her talent.

Nguyet Hang was born in Hanoi. The family has an artistic tradition, father is choreographer Hoang Ha, mother is actress Bich Nguyet of the art troupe of General Department of Politics.

Since childhood, Nguyet Hang has been exposed to art by her family living in the group's dormitory, watching artists dance, sing, and practice every day.

"The life of an artist is poor and very hard. Parents who are artists are always at a disadvantage. Children are always at a disadvantage. Because of that, my parents do not allow me to pursue art," she said.

But even though her parents forbade her, she still quietly went to the dance school, determined to pursue her passion. Later, she was recruited into an acting class at the Youth Theater. That's where she met the other half of her life, actor Anh Tuan.

"In the past, we hated each other because our personalities were very opposite. I was old, lived a principled life, and was a class officer, while Anh Tuan was destructive, naughty, and teased all day long. But at the end of the day. We don't understand when we love each other," Nguyet Hang said.

In 1996, she played the role of Lam Oanh in the movie "People who live with me" directed by Tat Binh. Since then, she began to have a charm with TV series, having voiced many films. Over 20 years of working with voice acting, she is always happy and proud to help many actors with voice defects.

The marriage of Nguyet Hang and Anh Tuan has experienced many ups and downs because they are young, and their "artist" ego is too big.

After giving birth to two daughters, they went through a period of marital crisis. The main reason is due to economic difficulties and disagreements in life. While Nguyet Hang is still passionate about her profession, Anh Tuan wants to start a business, but fails many times, making their lives stressful.

They have thought about divorce many times but never filed. Ten years ago, for the first time, the two agreed to divorce, went to file together, but when they arrived, it turned out to be the day the court did not work. Maybe it's your fate.

"Gradually, Anh Tuan changed. He was well aware of his mistakes, because he was busy playing, not serious at work, leading to failure. He became more concerned and cared for his wife and children. So we only have 4 children like now," Nguyet Hang laughed.

She confided that Nguyet Hang-Anh Tuan is not an economically wealthy couple, but she and her husband have a large fortune, which is their children.

"The couple thinks that just live happily for today. When we first got married, we still had to rent a house, we didn't have any money to spend, it took 15 years of struggle to have a house of our own. " she shared.

In 2021, she returned to the TV series "Let's Say Love" which is being broadcast on Vietnam Television. She plays Mrs. Hoai, the mother of the main character - My (Quynh Kool), a role completely different from her previous gentle and resigned roles.

Hoai has such a complex psychology and emotions that Nguyet Hang is obsessed. She knows that the audience will be inhibited, even "stoned" for this role.

"I have played many psychological roles, but I have never had a role as heavy as this. Mrs. Hoai is a perfectionist woman who likes to arrange everything according to her will, likes to control, and imposes her husband and children. I thought she was crazy," she commented.

At first, Mrs. Hoai had a happy family, obedient children, a successful husband, a rich economy, but that cover was broken when her daughter went to the city to study and had new friends that she did not want to give. children playing with her, her husband having an affair, her husband's girlfriend getting pregnant... All those imperfections and unsatisfactory things drove her crazy and started trying to put everything back in place.

"Melancholy and depression make Mrs. Hoai unable to control her actions. She madly forced her son to eat and study, 'frustrated' her daughter's friends, slashed her hand to commit suicide in front of her children, hired someone to make her son happy. My husband's girlfriend had a miscarriage... The story of the movie is sometimes suffocating, making me tired because I have to cry and scream too much," Nguyet Hang said.

Every woman wants a happy husband and children, perfect family. From this role, Nguyet Hang suddenly looked back at herself and the process of raising 4 children.

"My children all have different personalities and are at different ages, so for the past 25 years, I've always been learning to be a mother. In the past, I used to disobey my parents' wishes to pursue art. learn to respect and understand their children better,” she said.

After a tiring day with the character, she went home and shouted at her son a sentence exactly like Hoai shouted at her son in the movie, she suddenly woke up. From Mrs. Hoai's story, she understands that not always what she does for her child is what she needs.

Audiences who have children at a young age will be very interested in the film's story. They must also face similar situations, when their children learn to be adults, when their lives sometimes go off course. Maybe they will look back at themselves, look at their children and find a balance in life.

Actress Nguyet Hang confided that there was a scene in the film that touched her forever. That is the end of the movie, Mrs. Hoai begins to regret, remembers the day when she was a child, ran out to pick up her mother from work and said "I love you." Later, although Mrs. Hoai put all her love and energy into taking care of her children, she had not heard that saying for a long time.

"That scene made me cry for a long time. As a mother, I suddenly sympathized with the character. Parents like Mrs. Hoai are probably more pitiful than to blame," she shared.

Now, even though she has turned 50, actress Nguyet Hang has a "young and old" beauty with a slim body that many people can't help but admire.
