Contrary to her petite figure, the sweet smile of female billionaire Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao is her persistent will and big dreams. Vietjet Air CEO is the woman who changed the aviation industry in Vietnam.

Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao is a businesswoman, the first female billionaire in Vietnam recognized by Forbes after billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong. She is currently holding the position of General Director of VietJet Air, Standing Vice Chairman of HDBank's Board of Directors. She holds a Bachelor of Economics and Finance, Credit - Banking, PhD in Economics. Most of Thao's assets come from listed shares of Vietjet Air (stock code VJC) after the airline's IPO in February 2017.
