Negav said that in difficult times, he always lived in fear. "For four or five days, I always held my phone and couldn't sleep. In the morning, I slept for two or three hours and then woke up again, continuing to hold the phone to solve the problem," Negav expressed.

Previously, after "drunk hi", NEGAV gave eyes to the MV Minh Anh Cui, currently reaching more than 11 million views. Negav's real name is Dang Thanh An, born in 2001, active as a rapper. Before having the stage name Negav, Dang Thanh An used to take the name "Oggy" - a character in cartoons. Regarding the stage name Negav, he once said that he loves games and has a special weapon called "Negev". Later, Negav changed the letter "e" to the letter "a" as a stage name when performing arts.

In an interview in early September 2024, Negav admitted that he is a strong, extravagant personality but has recently changed: "In the past 4-5 years, I have met good friends, who have made me experience what 'near the light is on', as well as life events. Everything keeps developing itself inside people. One day, I realized that my way of talking to people was different. That was also the time when I knew that my thoughts had changed quite a lot, and music also changed from there.

In the past, I was a person with a strong personality. Coming from an underground background, I am also quite comfortable with my emotions, sometimes it's too fun, sometimes it's too extravagant. That leads to words that are somewhat out of control. Going through many stories, I received lessons. Up to now, no matter what happens, I still deal with my emotions but in a decent, kind and restrained way."

During the Brother Say Hi concert in December 2024, Negav apologized: "Dear all the audience, Brother Say Hi Organizers and all the guests present at concert 3. It is truly for me that standing here with all the Brothers is the greatest blessing. I want to be grateful and remember the love that everyone has for me, which is something that I cannot do without in my career journey.
