MLee launches community project My Wardrobe after Miss Universe Vietnam 2024

After Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 and the final top 5 achievement, MLee officially launched a community project called My Wardrobe, marking a new journey filled with humanistic values, combining fashion and charity.

MLee has been active in the arts for 11 years, and during that time, she has experienced many ups and downs. When coming to Miss Universe Vietnam 2024, MLee not only wants to learn and absorb more values in life through her perspective but also through her actions, that's why she launched a meaningful community project called "My Closet."

"My Wardrobe" is a community project that combines fashion recycling and environmental protection, with the aim of bringing sustainable social values. The project encourages people to donate, exchange or reuse old clothes to reduce fashion waste, while contributing to reducing negative impacts on the environment. Notably, all profits from selling or recycling products are donated to community activities, supporting those in difficult circumstances.

At the launch event, MLee shared the opportunity for her to carry out this project. When looking back at her and her friends' wardrobes, she realized that many items were only worn once or were even brand new, but were rarely used. This made MLee think: "Why don't we take advantage of these items to spread love to the less fortunate?" And from there, the idea of "My Wardrobe" was born, with the desire to make the most effective use of fashion products.

After her volunteer journey in the North right after Miss Universe Vietnam 2024, MLee realized even more the importance of supporting clothes for people in need. However, she also realized that not all clothes are suitable for real conditions, such as tank tops, underwear, or items that are not practical for the weather in the highlands. That is why "My Wardrobe" was born as a solution to optimize contributions.

In the plan for the last three months of 2024, MLee and the team from the two brands M.Slay and Slay aim to achieve a revenue of 30 million VND per month from selling donated products, with an average price of 100,000 VND per item. To achieve this number, the project needs to receive about 300 donated products per month, equivalent to 10 items per day. All proceeds will be sent to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to support people in the North to rebuild their lives after natural disasters.

After this phase, the "My Wardrobe" project will be maintained long-term. MLee and the team will continue to seek out difficult circumstances to support, bringing sustainable community values through each phase.

The project launch event was attended and commented by many representatives from the press and media. In addition, MLee also had the opportunity to meet her catwalk teacher - Le Thu Trang. The Top 5 Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 shared that, in addition to her close friend H'Hen Niê, it was Le Thu Trang who saw and helped MLee improve her first steps on the stage.

Not only sharing about the project, MLee also took this opportunity to send her deep thanks to Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 for bringing a meaningful and happy journey, with experiences not only to discover herself but also an opportunity to realize the great values of the community.

MLee (real name Quach Tapiau Maily) is of Vietnamese-French descent, and was nicknamed "mixed-race rose" by many when she first entered showbiz. She is 1.76m tall with sexy measurements of 89-64-94cm. The beauty born in 1992 can rap, play piano, guitar and compose, and has released MVs such as: Party up, Long-lasting love, Always close to you, Fish bites the hook. In addition to her music career, MLee has ventured into acting when she participated in the films Little Prince Bakery and Martial Arts War. In 2023, she won the Vietnamese version of "Beautiful Sister Who Rides the Wind and Splits the Waves" trophy.
