Mister Tourism World: Hung Nguyen suspected of fraud, rumor of title revocation?

Information about the results of the Mister Tourism World 2025 contest, with the coronation of Vietnam's representative - Hung Nguyen, is causing a stir in public opinion when on social networks, there is news that the Organizing Committee is considering revoking the awar.d and investigating it for suspected lack of transparency.

On the morning of March 13, the fanpage of the Mister Tourism World organization (MTWO) made a public announcement regarding the investigation of the results of the 2025 season with many doubts about transparency and fair competition. "Due to ongoing investigations into serious allegations of violations, misconduct and possible violations of competition rules, the winners of the 8th Mister Tourism World contest are temporarily suspended. This decision was made to ensure a thorough and objective review of the above issue," the organizing committee stated.

MTWO said the organizers are committed to maintaining the transparency and fairness of the competition. They are working closely with the authorities and conducting a thorough investigation to resolve the issue satisfactorily.

In response to the move from Mister Tourism World, the organizing committee of the contest in Vietnam affirmed in a statement posted at noon on March 13: "Currently, there has not been any official decision from the international organizing committee to temporarily suspend or revoke the titles awarded at the Mister Tourism World 2025 contest."

This side emphasized: "The Mister Tourism World 2025 contest was successfully organized in Vietnam in accordance with the licensing process for organization in Vietnam. All results, scoring system and awarding of titles were carried out publicly and transparently. Therefore, all decisions related to the titles of king and runner-up of the contest are under the authority of the organizing committee in Vietnam, the unit directly responsible for the contest and protecting the rights of the crowned contestants."

Sharing more with the media about the inconsistent information between MTWO and the Mister Tourism World organizing committee in Vietnam, Mr. Chu Tan Van (representative of the organizing committee of the contest in Vietnam) said that after MTWO posted the announcement on the morning of March 13, he contacted the international organization but had not received a response. "On the final night, before announcing the results, the jury met with the chairman of the contest, and all parties agreed on this result, including a clear score sheet. Whether or not to revoke the title or change the results will be the responsibility of the organizing unit," he said.

Mr. Chu Tan Van continued: "On March 5, after some national directors questioned and expressed disagreement with the results of the contest, the chairman of Mister Tourism World asked me to provide the score sheet and I did. However, MTWO posted the above information without any meeting with us. From my perspective, they did not respect the host in Vietnam and did not respect us by not discussing it before posting that information."

Mr. Chu Tan Van also said that in case the organizing committee announces a change in the owners of the awarded titles, the Vietnamese organizing committee is ready to take action to declare that the change has no legal value.

Previously, on the evening of February 18, the final round of Mister Tourism World 2025 took place in Ninh Thuan province with the competition of 25 men from countries and territories around the world.

Hung Nguyen's full name is Nguyen Huu Hung, born in 1998, from Hai Duong province. He is 1.88m tall and weighs 75kg. Currently, he is a model, a dance teacher and is affectionately called "teacher Hung Nguyen" by the beauty-loving community.
