Mister Tourism World 2025: Vietnam makes a miracle, convincingly crowned

On the evening of February 18, the final night of the Mister Tourism World 2025 contest took place in Ninh Thuan province with the competition of 25 models from countries and territories around the world.

This year's contest was hosted by Vietnam with the theme of Promoting Vietnamese tourism to the world, taking place from February 12 to 18, in many localities including Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai and Ninh Thuan. In the final night of Mister Tourism World 2025, Hung Nguyen and the contestants went through the Ao Dai performance, swimwear performance, and behavioral competition... After that, the Mister Tourism World Organizing Committee announced the final Top 6 including: Representatives from Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and Taiwan (China).

The highest position of Mister Tourism World 2025 belongs to Hung Nguyen. The titles of 1st Runner-up, 2nd Runner-up, 3rd Runner-up, 4th Runner-up, 5th Runner-up respectively belong to representatives from Malaysia, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Thailand, Taiwan.

In addition to the titles of Mr. and Mrs. Runner-up, the Mister Tourism World Organizing Committee also awarded many additional awards such as: Mr. Ao Dai (Laos); Best Tourism Speaker (Malaysia); Best Runway Model (France, India, Nigeria); Multimedia Awar.d (Laos, Taiwan, Indonesia); Best Talent (Vietnam, Laos, Philippines); Best Arirval (Sri Lanka); Best National Voting (Taiwan); Best Swimwear (Malaysia); Best Physique (Nigeria); Best Fashion and Style (India); Masachile Model Look (Czech Republic); Most Voted Model (Taiwan); Best National Costume (Vietnam)...

The jury of the final night of Mister Tourism World 2025 includes: Reigning Mister Tourism World Knot Thiraphat from Thailand, King Joshua Lennet, Runner-up Vu Linh, Miss Bui Quynh Hoa, designer Vo Viet Chung, model Ho Duc Vinh...

In the behavioral round, Hung Nguyen received the question: "As the winner of Mister Tourism World 2025, what do you think about the opinion that this is not a major competition for men?". According to Hung Nguyen, this is an interesting question so he asked permission to use his mother tongue - Vietnamese to answer completely, instead of using English.

"I don't know exactly what your definition of a big competition is. For me, this is a place where I can meet many international friends at the same time. I get to learn about different cultures in the world, and at the same time promote tourism and Vietnamese identity. I have grown a lot through the competition. I hope to have the opportunity to visit your country soon. Besides, our people always welcome everyone to Vietnam," he shared.

Hung Nguyen's achievements were well-deserved by the judges and the audience. During the week of the competition, he always showed stable performance, entered the Top in many sub-contests and won the best national costume and talent awards.

Hung Nguyen's full name is Nguyen Huu Hung, born in 1998, from Hai Duong province. He is 1.88m tall and weighs 75kg. Currently, he is a model, a dance teacher and is affectionately called "Teacher Hung Nguyen" by the beauty-loving community.

The Hai Duong native won second prize at the Piaggio Dance Contest 2020 and has performed at major events such as music festivals, concerts, countdowns...

Mister Tourism World 2025 contest with the theme "Promoting Vietnamese tourism to the world" is organized by Kim Thinh Phat Advertising Company Limited.

Mr. Nguyen Long Bien, Vice Chairman of Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee, said that hosting an international competition in Ninh Thuan is the pride of the province. This is an opportunity to introduce the country, people and advanced culture, imbued with national identity of Vietnam in general, and Ninh Thuan in particular, to international friends.

Mister Tourism World is an annual contest in the Philippines, first held in 2016. The contest promotes the mission of promoting tourism, preserving heritage, and protecting the environment. Previously, Vietnam had sent contestants to compete four times, including Pham Xuan Hien, Tran Manh Kien, Phung Phuoc Thinh (5th runner-up) and Nguyen Quoc Tri (3rd runner-up).
