Many contests lower the criteria, in which height is the highlight to attract more participants, but the Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 contest still retains the old criteria," added the head of the organizing committee.

Last year, the Miss Grand Vietnam contest attracted attention with the controversial name-calling. This year, the organizers promise that the name-calling will definitely be serious and cute.

The organizers said that the contestant intends to say a folk song, proverb or a song according to the contestants' talents, showing the culture of the region in which the contestants live.

"Although the name of the semi-final night of Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 has exploded, this year must keep the integrity because sometimes too much joy becomes sad" - the organizers representative added.

The jury of Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 has Miss Ha Kieu Anh (head of the jury), People's Artist Vuong Duy Bien, director Hoang Nhat Nam, Miss Thuy Tien, singer Lona, supermodel Minh Tu, actress Diem My 9X , designer Do Long.

Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 will take place in July and August 2023.

In addition, this is the second time Vietnam has hosted the Miss Grand International contest. The contest is expected to be held in October this year.
