Miss Yen Nhi is experiencing a turbulent time at Miss Grand International 2025. The representative of Vietnam stepped into the international arena after only two weeks of preparation since being crowned in the country.

It was the time that was too urgent that caused the young girl to continuously encounter unexpected incidents, from her ability to perform, foreign languages to her behavior in public, and culminated in the noisy statement on the livestream that caused intense controversy.

From the first rounds, Yen Nhi revealed many limitations. In the talent contest, she chose to perform the song Cheri Cheri Lady. Some people dug up the clip of her behavior in her hometown and suspected that she memorized it and knew the question in advance.

The above errors have not yet created a strong wave of reaction with the recent livestream incident. During a roommate's live stream, the microphone accidentally captured Yen Nhi's phone conversation. In it, she complained about constantly being criticized, using unrestrained words and uttering sentences that were not suitable for the image of a miss. The content of the conversation quickly spread and made the public angry. Many people think that Yen Nhi lacks alertness, letting emotions overwhelm, while the national representative needs to always keep a standard image in all circumstances.

In the face of the backlash, Yen Nhi immediately posted an apology. She admitted that in a hurry and pressure, she made incomplete statements, making the audience sad. The beauty affirmed that she is always aware of her responsibility when wearing a Vietnamese sash, and at the same time sent her sincere thanks and apologies to fans. Yen Nhi also explained that the embarrassment when communicating in English comes from psychological stress, not a lack of effort.
