Manh Khang is one of the famous Vietnamese male models with the Silver Supermodel award. Currently, he is currently one of the famous male MCs present in a number of programs of VTV.
Tran Manh Khanh was born in 1991 and the audience not only knows him as one of the famous models, but he is also a male MC of VTV. He is considered as one of the new and extremely interesting factors. He is also the winner of the VTV 2016 beauty contest. Currently, he is one of the most expensive male models in Vietnam.
At the age of 18, Manh Khang won a scholarship to major in multimedia in Taiwan. Initially, he only planned to focus in Taiwan to study. By the 2nd year, he had good communication skills and from here he started looking for a part-time job, after working part-time at a restaurant, he was discovered by a famous Taiwanese show. Although the fashion industry in Taiwan is not as strong as in Korea and Japan, it is also quite strong in Shanghai.
It was also the journey for him to enter the modeling career, he gradually began to receive many advertising contracts, as well as different shows. He appeared in many posters, promotional videos for sunglasses in Taiwan.
After returning to Vietnam, he achieved a lot of success with the Silver prize of the contest "Vietnam Supermodel 2015". This award has brought him many opportunities to perform at many large and small fashion shows. However, when the modeling career was successful, he turned to MC.
After meeting journalist Ta Bich Loan, Manh Khang was inspired by her and felt that MC work at a television station was also very interesting, so he went to VTV to practice. In a program, Manh Khang said that he was once criticized for having a perfect body, looking unfriendly, and being too angular. After that, Manh Khang tried to gain weight to have a more sympathetic face, suitable for the job of TV editor.
Originally a model, MC Manh Khang also had difficulties when starting a show career: "Over the first 2 years, Khang had to accept and be determined to give up the stage, not taking pictures or any other work. anything related to modeling work to focus entirely on the work of BTV-MC.
In the past, as a model, Khang didn't need to use his voice, always needed a cool demeanor, but now he has to practice words, speak fluently, and smile brightly to change himself. And the hardest part is constantly learning to really become a host, not a model."
Having won the Silver Supermodel award, but then paused to switch to Editor, MC and then returned to the catwalk, Manh Khang shared: "Actually, after winning the Supermodel Silver award, Manh Khang still parallel maintenance of 2 jobs Editor/MC and model. But fortunately the job is at a television station - where it is widely covered and more people are interested in paying attention, so maybe everyone will know about the activities. more active in the television field of Khang.
During the 4 years since the Silver Supermodel award, I've been 'hidden' but done a lot of useful things. Khang not only participates in shows and fashion weeks in Vietnam. In addition, Khang has also participated in teaching and guiding child models for the past 2 years. But Khang's favorite thing is volunteer work."
In the past, Manh Khang once attracted attention when bluntly sharing about the issue of solicitation in showbiz, he said: "Soliciting is really not strange, but it is important to agree or refuse. Listening is always like delicious bait, but each person feels it for themselves, if you get hooked, you have to accept it. I have rejected many offers because I felt it was not suitable for me. I want to choose what I like to eat."
Not only a popular MC model, Manh Khang also caused a fever when representing Vietnam to participate in Mr Supranational 2019. In the final night, after constant efforts and efforts, he was named in the Top 20. Not a high achievement, but a remarkable result for the handsome editor of Vietnam Television.
Before that, during the flight to Poland, he had an incident of losing almost all of his important luggage (many vests, ao dai, national costumes, shoes, other accessories) that he and he shared with him. -The crew prepared for weeks while in transit in France. Not only that, a part of Ngoc Chau's Lac Vu ethnic costume that he helped bring was also not found.
The above incident made Manh Khang unable to stand out or score in the contest's activities like other competitors. He could only borrow a vest and a few accessories from Japanese and Spanish contestants. However, he still kept the spirit of optimism, "fighting" with all his might.
Specifically, in the Talent competition, although allowed by the organizers and judges to skip, but because he did not want to lose his score and the opportunity to express himself, Manh Khang decided to overcome difficulties to complete this challenge. He used a toothbrush instead of a brush, used a plastic cup to make ink and then asked for more paper and ink at the hotel to draw competitive calligraphy.
Having only one pair of hard shoes for all activities also injured Manh Khang's legs. However, he still tried to complete all the schedules of the contest organizers. Seeing the efforts of the Ha Thanh boy, many friends, colleagues and home audiences made great efforts to call and vote. for you. Therefore, during the two weeks of the contest, Manh Khang was always in the top favorite contestants.
Manh Khang said that when he was in high school, he was like many other boys when he preferred to play rather than study. Especially at that time, the guy from Ha Thanh himself was always attracted to the teenage modeling job. But one day, when he saw his mother's tears because he was sad and worried about his future, Manh Khang suddenly realized that he had to change. Because education is very important. At the same time, it is the foundation for him to change the future.
Manh Khang shared in the clip: "I rushed to study, study and study. After finishing high school, I won a full scholarship to the Faculty of Multimedia Communication at a university in Taiwan, China. . But, I never gave up on my dream. In the 4 years parallel to my studies, I continued to be passionate about modeling in Taiwan."
It can be seen that, after all his efforts, now, besides modeling, he is also successful in the field of reporter, editor, and presenter at the news center of Vietnam Television. Nam, true to his mother's desire to study but still pursue his passion for art.
