Madonna and her 38-year-younger boyfriend were caught dating in Italy before her birthday

Pop queen Madonna has fans buzzing with a series of rare photos of her and her boyfriend, taken during a date in Italy. It is known that she and her 38-year-old boyfriend are on vacation and are about to celebrate their birthday.

On August 13, Madonna held hands with Akeem Morris as they strolled through the streets of Portofino, Italy. She wore a Dolce & Gabbana lace dress and accessorized with jewelry. Akeem, in a polo shirt, shorts and sneakers, gently led Madonna through the cobblestone streets.

Madonna and the Jamaican were also seen sailing earlier this week, according to People. The pop star will celebrate her birthday in Italy on August 16.

Akeem Morris has been seen with Madonna a lot lately. In July, the two went out in New York on Independence Day and the singer later shared a photo of them together on Instagram. On August 3, she also posted a photo of herself in bed with Akeem Morris with the caption: "Hot summer fun."

Around the same time, Morris' ex-girlfriend Reagan Rice posted a TikTok video about her past relationship and how she felt about her ex dating the pop star. "Comment if your boyfriend of three years is now dating Madonna," she wrote.

Madonna and Akeem Morris met in 2022 when they posed for the cover of Paper magazine. Akeem Morris was born in Jamaica in May 1996 and currently lives in New York, USA. He attended Stony Brook University from 2014 to 2018, earning a BA in Political Science. Morris was a soccer player for Stony Brook in college and also played as a striker for Oyster Bay United FC. Before Akeem Morris, Madonna dated several younger men, including 29-year-old dancer Ahlamalik Williams and 30-year-old boxer Josh Popper.

In May 2024, according to The Sun, Madonna and Josh Popper went their separate ways after more than a year of dating. The "Queen of Pop" did not see her young lover for many months due to her busy work schedule, and their relationship was not as close as before.

"Nothing bad really happened. They loved each other but it wouldn't have worked out if they continued the relationship. The love had cooled so they became friends," the source revealed.

The breakup comes seven months after Madonna kicked off her Celebration Tour, which began in London in October 2023. She ended her world tour in early May with a free concert in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. On her personal account, the Material Girl singer only posted photos of the concerts and did not mention Popper.

Madonna met Popper through the introduction of David Banda's son. From being Madonna's boxing coach, Popper and the "Queen of Pop" fell in love and started dating.

In a photo taken together, the singer caresses the heavily tattooed man, pressing her lips to Popper’s shoulder and squeezing his biceps. In response, Popper posted a photo of himself hugging the singer. Last March, she went to New York to cheer on her young lover in a boxing match.

"Josh traveled around the world with Madonna, including a trip to Portugal to celebrate Madonna's cozy birthday. At the end of 2023, the young coach was taken on stage by his girlfriend in Brooklyn, where they kissed in front of 14,000 spectators. Madonna has a history of dating handsome, young, muscular men. Before dating and breaking up with Josh Popper, she dated men several decades younger than her: Kevin Sampaio, Timor Steffens, Brahim Zaibat, Jesus Luz, Dennis Rodman.

In 2015, Madonna dated Ahlamalik Williams, who was 35 years her junior. However, in 2022, the two decided to split. A source told The Sun: "Madonna has thrown herself into a busy social life, seeing friends and family since the split."

"She has a busy schedule, working on her upcoming biopic, new music and taking care of her family," the source continued. "Things have been going well for Ahlamalik for a while. There was a lot of love but now they have decided to part ways."
