At the show, when Ly Hai came home, he saw his mother holding some old photos. He asked his mother if she remembered anyone in the picture, she said it was so long ago that she probably didn't remember anymore, even though in the picture it was herself with her husband and children, at that time Ly Hai was only 2-3 years old. The male singer asked his mother: "How are you? Can you eat?" , his mother unconsciously looked at her son and asked: "Who are you?"

Ly Hai said that many times her mother said she missed Ut Hai, but every time she came to visit, she couldn't remember her face. She said: "Remember Ly Hai". I just follow my mother. In the countryside, there are areas where people don't have money, they will change them. For example, if I sell vermicelli, sell fish sauce, people will have something in return. I help my mother carry it home. The next morning I exchange it, I get the goods."

The most "memorable" memory of her mother is crossing a bridge with her biceps, called the monkey bridge in the countryside. Mother had to carry things, hold one hand, it was raining, so she slipped and fell, dropping all the fish sauce into the canal. "The brothers and sisters gathered together, had to pick up the whole fish to eat. That meal was a dead end. But the small fish was all gone, the choke fish sauce, the big snakehead fish could not be sold, come back. Those are terrible childhood memories, but I always cherish that time and can say it's ingrained in my memories and will never be forgotten," he said.

Ly Hai said that he was like children born and raised in the same land, studying for one day and searching for food for the family such as picking morning glory, sweet potato, wild vegetables or making a net. .. "I know all the basics of country life, so I can live anywhere now. Now that I'm an adult, I'm thankful for that time, thanks to that, I have the capital to live. It's very big. Especially, it's supporting my movie work now," Ly Hai confided.

The male singer said his childhood was "intense". Although it has been decades since he left the land of Tien Giang to set up a career in Ho Chi Minh City, he still cannot cut the "tail" of being a Westerner. "Put down the microphone on the stage, I like to wear shorts, like to eat on the street, like to be free," Ly Hai shared.
