Indonesian authorities are expanding their investigation into the incident involving Ukrainian tourist Igor Komarov that occurred on the island of Bali, and have issued international arrest warrants for 7 people believed to be involved. According to the traces collected, the group blocked Komarov's path as he was moving, then forced him into a car and took him away from the scene. The destination was identified as a villa located in the Tabanan area, west of the center of Bali.

When conducting a search of this villa, the functional forces found many red traces on the premises. After the examination, the results showed that the DNA from these traces matched that of Igor Komarov. In addition, police also seized a phone and a bag believed to belong to the Ukrainian tourist.

Regarding the incident, Indonesian police identified a total of 7 people with related signs. According to the results of the initial investigation, CH was arrested in the West Nusa Tenggara area and is believed to have rented the car used in the incident. Notably, this person used a fake Belgian passport when carrying out car rental procedures. However, the authorities said that the CH was not directly involved in the process of controlling Komarov.

Investigators said at least four suspects had left Bali through the island's international airport. The rest are believed to be still hiding in Indonesian territory. Currently, all 7 people have been put on the wanted list of the Indonesian police, and the authorities have also asked Interpol to issue a red warrant to coordinate the search on an international scale.

At the time of the incident, Komarov was traveling in Bali with his girlfriend, Yesa Mishalova, a social media influencer with nearly 200,000 followers.

Just a day before the incident, the couple still posted a photo taken together on Valentine's Day with the caption: "14 February, love you everyday". After that, Mishalova went on to post a short video showing her crying in front of the camera with the caption: "I'll come back when I have enough strength."

Investigators believe that the social media posts may have inadvertently revealed the couple's location, although there is currently no evidence that the group tracked them through online platforms. Some sources from Russia and Ukraine said that Igor Komarov is believed to be the son of Sergei Komarov – a well-known figure in the criminal circle in the city of Kramatorsk. However, this information has not been officially confirmed by the authorities.

The incident attracted major international attention after a video circulated online showing Komarov appearing with multiple injuries and calling on his family to send a ransom of up to $10 million.

On February 26, locals discovered body parts washed up near the mouth of the Wos River, in the Ketewel beach area. Soon after, forensic experts collected many biological samples for identification.

Initially, investigators assessed that there was about an 80 percent chance that these body parts belonged to Komarov. However, due to environmental impacts, identification is difficult, so it is necessary to conduct a DNA test to confirm accurately. Currently, the motive behind the incident is still being investigated by the authorities.
