Recently, a close friend and student spoke up to clearly share Lam Nguyen's health condition before his sudden death at the age of 31.

According to official sharing from Lam Nguyen's sister, he has a history of asthma. Recently, he has been constantly working abroad, the weather changes erratically, combined with frequent insomnia due to jet lag, leading to physical weakness and loss of appetite. Since returning to Vietnam in March, he suffered from jet lag and was too busy, leading to erratic activities and further deterioration of his health.

In particular, Lam Nguyen has a bad habit of bathing at night, which leads to cold lungs, long-term colds that do not go away, and frequent and repeated fevers. On May 8, he was admitted to the emergency room with acute pneumonia and critical kidney failure. Although the doctors tried to treat him, he could not survive and passed away in the early afternoon of May 9.

Pneumonia is an infection of the lung parenchyma accompanied by the production of secretions in the alveoli; includes inflammation of the alveoli, alveolar ducts and sacs, terminal bronchioles, or interstitial cellulitis of the lungs. The disease occurs due to bacterial, viral, fungal and some other agents, but does not include tuberculosis bacilli.

Kidney failure is a condition in which the kidneys lose function and are no longer able to filter waste from the blood. Kidney failure will most likely damage the Nephrons (a structural unit of the kidney) making it impossible for the kidneys to remove waste from the body. If left untreated or failed, it will cause loss of kidney function.

Like Lam Nguyen's case, many people, especially young people, have the habit of bathing regularly at night. There are many reasons for this such as being too busy, having hobbies, dealing with hot weather, wanting to shower before bed to sleep better... Lam Nguyen's visitation ceremony took place on May 9-11 at his home in Ho Chi Minh City. The coffin was taken for cremation at 1:00 p.m. on May 11.
