Kanye West is said to be deliberately prolonging the time to finalize the divorce. He doesn't accept that he has lost Kim Kardashian.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, Kanye West was supposed to have spoken with Kim Kardashian's lawyer on Nov. 16. However, for some reason, he did not come. The two parties agreed to sign divorce paperwork at 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 29. If he continues to be absent, the rapper will face serious problems as this is an important basis for the judge to make a divorce ruling in the upcoming court hearing, which is set for December 14.

"Of course, Kim and Kanye can come up with a settlement agreement before December 14. But as we said, he is not cooperative. So at this point, the settlement is a tough one," the source said.

During the divorce process, Kim was represented by Laura Wasser, who was dubbed the "disco queen" in legal circles. Laura is well-known and experienced in settling divorces for the rich. Laura said she wanted to find the source of Kim and Kanye's conflict, as well as invite witnesses (mostly family members) to come forward.

Meanwhile, Kanye has worked with multiple lawyers. In May, Samantha Spector, the rapper's fourth lawyer, filed documents with court to resign to represent Kanye in the divorce case. She listed the reason for her departure as an "irreconcilable incident in the relationship between lawyer and client."

Kim and Kanye have been filing for divorce for 2 years. A judge signed an order accepting Kim as legally single, but she still has to deal with custody and property division issues with her ex-husband.

On Piers Morgan Uncensored, on October 21 (US time), Kanye made it clear that he does not want to lose Kim. He said: "We could divorce on paper, but I never gave up on being her protector."

Although Kim has restored her maiden name, dropping West from her last name, the rapper still doesn't see that as an issue. "It's like I'm called Ye now. If we were together again, what would our names be? Kimye?"

Recently, former love Kanye West also shocked when she explained that she never loved the rapper, only agreed to date to help Kim Kardashian - his idol. According to Pagesix, Julia Fox only accepted dating Kanye West earlier this year to keep the rapper away from Kim Kardashian amid the controversial divorce.

On Monday, when criticized for dating a sexist and racist person, the actress explained: "I think I can help Kim get rid of Kanye. I just need to make him like me, and I know I can do this."

The Uncut Gems star, 32, said the thoughts came from the fact that she is a longtime fan of the Kardashians. The actress also revealed that initially, she did not reciprocate Kanye West's feelings. However, the 45-year-old rapper called her out and even yelled at her for having bad manners, which is when she decided to go on a date to keep him away from Kim, 42.

During his time dating, Kanye did not talk about his former relationship. Instead, they talk about fashion, ideas and the future. Fox thought he could help the rapper get better, but quickly realized he didn't want any help. She ended things with West in February after nearly 6 weeks of dating.

Soon after, Julia Fox took to her personal page to say that she "never loved this man". In September, she also told ES Magazine that she was proud of herself for letting go.

Since their split, West has had his contract cancelled by Adidas and temporarily banned from Twitter for antisemitic remarks. Fox addressed the scandal on social media, saying she was "on the side of the Jewish community."
