Depp has performed alongside Jeff Beck as a guest on Beck's live shows. Gregg Brooks - who filed a lawsuit against Depp in July 2018 - testified that in a fit of rage, the Hollywood actor punched him twice in the left ribs. Depp's violent actions are said to be witnessed by the film crew.

The list of witnesses named by Brooks includes Christi Debrowski - Johnny Depp's sister, bodyguard Sean Bett, Waldman and business manager Ed White. All of these characters testified for Depp in a defamation lawsuit in Fairfax, Virginia.
