HYBE 'interrogated' NewJeans fans, the court 'scolded' one thing, Min Hee Jin was satisfied

NewJeans has sparked a war with the management company with the desire to find justice again. Initially, fans speculated that the girl group would 'lose painfully', but the current situation seems to be reversed when HYBE faces many big accusations.

Typical among them is HYPE allegedly investigating New Jeans fans, this information is shared on many forums. According to Korean media, the news spread on online communities with the headline "HYBE is currently investigating the identity of NewJeans fans".

The poster identified himself as a big fan of the group and criticized HYBE for manipulating the media as well as investigating NewJeans' fans.

In the post, the writer gave a warning to HYBE and expressed anger at this action of HYBE company.

The poster also claimed that the incident had escalated to the point of widespread concern and called on HYBE to admit its mistakes and pledge to correct or speak up to address ongoing concerns. In addition, the writer criticized the company's tactics, including spreading misinformation, and warned that HYBE's actions would suffer consequences. Prior to this information, HYBE has not yet released official information.

NewJeans is a South Korean girl group founded and managed by ADOR. The group consists of 5 members: Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein. The group released their debut single "Attention" on July 22, 2022 before their official debut and the release of the eponymous expansion disc on August 1, 2022.

Along with that, HYBE's decision to fire the 'mother of NewJeans' is also facing opposition from the court.

According to media reports on October 3, Korean time, the 50th Civil Court of the Seoul Central Court held a hearing to determine the validity of the injunction requested by former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin on October 11. However, until now, the results of this hearing have not been announced and it is unclear whether Min Hee Jin will be reinstated.

Earlier on August 27, ADOR dismissed Min Hee Jin from the position of CEO at a board meeting and elected Kim Joo Young as the new CEO. Shortly after ADOR's move, Min Hee Jin declared that ADOR's decision was "illegal" and filed a request for a restraining order, calling for her reinstatement. According to Min Hee Jin, her dismissal from the position of CEO of ADOR violated the effective shareholder agreement between her and HYBE Labels.

However, HYBE denied that ADOR's decision to remove Min Hee Jin from the CEO position was not related to her shareholder agreement with HYBE and that the shareholder agreement was terminated. Meanwhile, according to Min Hee Jin, all preparations for NewJeans' comeback and fan meeting have been temporarily stopped.

Previously, in sharing with JoongAng Ilbo about the recent noises between her and HYBE, Min Hee Jin caused a stir when she revealed that the corporation had offered to pay her some money to leave in peace.

However, Min Hee Jin refused: "If it's for money, I have no reason to go through such a grueling and tiring battle. After I won a preliminary injunction at an extraordinary shareholder meeting in May to dismiss me, HYBE made an offer that they would pay me to leave. Because money is not the goal, I refused."

After that, HYBE quickly denied this: "HYBE has never proposed any agreement that says 'Take the money and leave'. First, HYBE did not make any such offer to Director Min Hee Jin. To make such absurd allegations in an interview with the media is confusing to us."
