Recently, Hwasa 's song " Good Goodbye " officially marked a memorable career milestone, achieving the third most Perfect All-Kill in history, surpassing even BTS.
According to data from iChart, a system that aggregates major music charts in South Korea such as Melon, Genie Music, YouTube Music, FLO, VIBE, and Bugs, Good Goodbye continues to maintain its No. 1 position simultaneously on all real-time, daily, and weekly charts. This is a remarkable achievement in the fiercely competitive Kpop music market today.
As of January 10th (Korean time), "Good Goodbye" had achieved 620 Perfect All-Kills, officially surpassing BTS's "Dynamite," which previously held 610 PAKs. This achievement propelled Hwasa to third place on the list of songs with the highest number of PAKs in history, behind only NewJeans' "Ditto" with 655 PAKs and HUNTR/X's "Golden" with 1,484 PAKs.
What's special is that "Good Goodbye" was originally released as a digital single on October 15, 2025. The song has a gentle, emotional R&B style, different from many other upbeat hits on the market. Initially, "Good Goodbye" only received a certain amount of attention from the fan community, but it wasn't until Hwasa's impressive live performance at the Blue Dragon Awards in November and her viral marriage proposal to actor Park Jung Min that the song truly "exploded" on the charts.
The performance at Blue Dragon not only helped Good Goodbye gain wider audience attention but is also considered a milestone that propelled the song to a powerful new level. It's a prime example of how the longevity of a musical product depends not only on its release date but also heavily on how the artist expresses themselves and connects emotionally with the listener.
The success of "Good Goodbye" further solidifies Hwasa's position in the Korean music industry, not only as a group idol but also as an outstanding solo artist who knows how to break boundaries and redefine the standards of success in K-pop today. Her consistent commitment to musical quality and her independent, distinctive style have earned her strong points with fans both domestically and internationally.
Notably, Hwasa also recently announced plans to hold her first solo concert, titled "2026 HWASA CONCERT," scheduled for January 17th and 18th, 2026, at Kyung Hee University. This is a special milestone, not only marking 12 years of her artistic career since her debut, but also promising to be an opportunity for Hwasa to fully showcase her unique musical world.
Since signing an exclusive contract with P NATION in June 2023, Hwasa has consistently released high-quality music such as "I Love My Body," "NA," and "Good Goodbye." These creations not only solidify her image as an independent and charismatic solo artist but also affirm her strong influence in the Korean music industry. With "Good Goodbye" and its subsequent successes, Hwasa has not only set personal records but also contributed to enriching the impressive musical achievements of K-pop.
