More than just a comeback, BTS's comeback next March is becoming a global "treasure hunt". By reversing the traditional media process, BigHit Music puts fans at the center of every action.
Strategic move: Fans are the No. 1 priority
Recently, BigHit Music has officially confirmed that BTS will release a new album on March 20, 2026, accompanied by a large-scale world tour. This is the group's first full album since the collection Proof (June 2022), ending nearly 4 years of absence on the music track with a full lineup.
Instead of sending press releases to media outlets as usual, BigHit made a big splash by sending handwritten letters directly to fans from December 31. This "reverse" tactic puts ARMYs at the center, making them the first to hold important information. The proactive "leak" of information in a calculated manner has stimulated community psychology, creating a strong viral effect on social media platforms.
Deciphering the unknown number named "Hello"
The most interesting point in this campaign is the deliberate "technical errors". Since the beginning of January, when users switched languages to English on BTS's official website, the website only displayed the words "Hello!" on a white background. Soon after, the countdown website for the new album also launched with a red logo with a shape reminiscent of the word "Hello".
With seasoned "detective" experience, the ARMY community quickly realized that this was not a systemic error but an ingenious bilingual English-Korean wordplay. Theories that "Hello" is the name of the album are just beginning to emerge and are reinforced by a series of details from the past:
Traces from Los Angeles: During a livestream at the beach in August after the end of the writing camp, the eldest Jin repeated the word "Hello" implicitly, even though the other members tried to prevent it to avoid spoilers.
The connection to "Life Goes On": The lyrics of this hit once read: "With the 'annyeong' that we start and finish the day". In Korean, "Annyeong" is both a greeting to meet and a goodbye.
Choosing "Hello" as the theme for the group's comeback after nearly 3 years of hiatus carries a deep symbolic meaning. It is a reunion greeting, a sincere new beginning of the 7 members for the world.
Explosive community reaction
BigHit Music's promotional campaign received a "rain" of praise thanks to its sophistication and intelligence. Instead of letting the members carelessly reveal information (spoiler) as before, this time the company actively played the role of "spoiler" through an elaborately choreographed script.
On forums, fans couldn't hide their excitement: "We don't say 'Bye', we say 'Hello'! A perfect continuation of the message of Life Goes On." "BigHit has really turned this comeback into a dramatic treasure hunt."
The bond between BTS and fans has never been stronger when every small action of the company shows appreciation for ARMY. Currently, all attention is focused on March 20 – the time when the "Hello" greeting officially sounds, marking a new era of K-pop "living legends".
V of BTS publicly posts photos of himself dating Jennie, causing outrage and anger among 70 million people.
An Nhiên07:40:37 31/12/2025Despite rumors of their breakup at the end of 2023, the latest evidence from international media suggests that Kpop's most powerful couple – Jennie and V – are still happily together.
